Chapter 27

Steve watched in horror as her whole body caught on the fire. y/n in agony, her screams making him restless as he tried to free himself from the chains Katherine tied him with.

Katherine scoffed seeing them and place the ring on her finger before she could get roasted to death.

"You think I am going to kill you just like that" there was amusement in her tone. "Not so soon sweetie" she whispered to her before going to steve.

"You like seeing your girl on fire huh" Steve glared at her.

"Let me show you one more thing, I know you would enjoy it," she said with amusement.

Walking towards him she sat beside him. Her eyes were fixed on y/n.

Y/n knew what was coming but she didn't have the strength to stop her.

Katherine smirked before sinking her teeth in Steve's neck.

He groaned as blood started to come out, Katherine pulled out and moaned.

"He tastes so good, I know you wanna taste him too" y/n was trying too hard not to lose control but she was thirsty. She looked away as her veins were popping out.

Her breaths were getting heavy, the smell of his blood was strong she could almost taste it.

Her fangs came out at the thought of tasting him.

No no no... she can't have those thoughts.

Steve was staring at her, she could feel his gaze. "You know who is she, now. A monster" Katherine whispered to him, her fingers gathering the blood from his neck before she walked towards y/n.

"She is thinking about feeding on you Steve, she craves it" y/n glared at her. She grabbed her face and turned it towards Steve.

"Looking at this, this is the woman you love."

There were tears in her blood-filled eyes as she stared at him, trying to read his expressions.

But there was nothing she could understand.

She regretted not telling him by herself. This wasn't how he should know about her.

Katherine brought her blood-filled finger towards her mouth.

"I know you are thirsty, you can feed on him. If you want. See how good his blood tastes"

It was the vervain that made her weak and caused the thoughts of feeding on him. She needed blood but not his.

"Stop it" she gritted but only to receive mocking laughter.

Before Katherine could do anything, the sound of a bang came from the outside. Katherine looked towards the door and then towards y/n.

She smirked and looked at her with tired eyes, "you think you plan everything huh. Let's see how you escape now sweetie"

Hearing her words Katherine slapped her face hard. Suddenly the door burst open, tony and nat entered inside wearing their suits.

Tony marched towards Steve freeing him from the chains while Nat was attacking Katherine.

The vamp pushed her against the wall and about to her into her skin.

An arrow hit her back causing her to stop.

She turned to look at clint, "get away from her, vampy"

Tony freed Steve from the chains and helped him get up but he was weak, he couldn't fight.

Y/n kept waiting for someone to free her but suddenly hydra soldiers entered with guns.

Everyone kept fighting them when Damon entered and saw her still tied with the ropes. He was about to help but she stopped him. It was vervain he couldn't help her.

He looked around and saw nat struggling with two soldiers, he ran towards her and dealt with them.

"You go free her" nodding towards his way she came to help y/n.

"You owe me dinner" she winked as uniting the knots.

Y/n hissed feeling the ropes against her skin before chuckling at her words. "Just let me get out of here"

After getting freed she stood up on trembling legs. Her eyes in Steve, she was moving towards him, to help him get outside. Her steps slowed and were forced as she was weak herself.

But before she could get to him Katherine got him first.

She brought him in the center and pushed her hand into his chest.

Steve screamed in pain as he felt her hand squeezing his heart.

"Stop or I will kill him" Katherine sneered.

Y/n kept looking at them, there was nothing she could do, one wrong move and that psychotic bitch could kill him.

Everyone looked at her, Tony pointed his hands towards her, ready to shoot missiles.

"Let him go or I will shoot your brain before you would know it" he knew it was pathetic but it was part of their game.

Distracting her. Katherine laughed hysterically at his words. Before she could insult him with her words someone snapped her neck causing her to fall. Her hand came out of steve.

"I will take her to mystic falls with" Klaus looked up, his face stern. Y/n stared at Klaus with a frown. She didn't know Klaus would come.

She looked at Steve who was gasping for air, a big red spot on his chest. She ran towards him and kneel.

She took his head on her lap, "Hey, it's okay" tears were falling out of her eyes.

Her mind was thinking all the worst things, she couldn't lose him again.

Biting her wrist, she brought it to his lips. She knew he would resist but she forced it.

It would help him heal or if he died it will-

She didn't want to think about it. Steve's eyes were getting heavy when he tasted that ironic liquid getting down his throat. He wanted to gag knowing it was blood, her blood.

Y/n pulled her wrist back and saw him getting unconscious.

Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder causing her to turn.

"Let's go. He needs help" Damon whispered with concern.
