Chapter 12

The next morning she woke up, and Damon was sitting there. He was sleeping in a very uncomfortable half-sitting, half-lying position. She chuckled seeing him. She got up and went to wash her morning sleepy self look presentable.

When she got back, Damon was still sleeping. She went to her bedside table, took the water pitcher and spilled the whole water on Damon's face. That made only her laugh because Damon was fuming with anger. “Seriously y/n, what are you five?” that only made her laugh more. Seeing him pissed was her source of entertainment. “I was crying for you last night. This is how you are gonna treat me now?” Damon said grumpily. “Well that was last night, it’s past now. And you did this with yourself. Who told you to make me promise. Now bear this behavior for eternity.” he just shook his head and she went downstairs.

y/n was alone both brothers went to see their girlfriends after breakfast. She was deciding to watch a movie when someone disturbed her, by ringing the doorbell.

She opened the door to see the man from yesterday. It was the other man, who saved her from dying. He didn’t say anything just smiled at her when she didn’t say anything and didn’t let him come inside.

“Look I mean no harm, I just want to talk to you,” he said and she agreed. She also wanted to talk to these men and wanted to know what they wanted. They both went somewhere else to talk, y/n didn’t want Damon or anyone else to see her with him.

“So what do you want to talk about.” y/n asked Elijah, he told her his name was.

“Actually I wanted to talk to all of you. My brother yesterday took your friend taking her to be someone else,”  he told her. “Well for first, if you want to talk with the person whose girlfriend your brother tried to kill, he would literally kill you. He had anger issues. And second, I know you took her for Katherin,” she said with bored expressions and he looked at her with an amused expression.

 “He can’t kill me for first, you have no idea who I am. and how do you know Katherina.” he held his head high. She chuckled, “everyone is behind her, Klaus, I, Damon, and I am sure there would be more to this list. And honestly, I don’t care about who you are, no offense,” “None taken.”

“So tell me why you are after her, are you one of Klaus’s men or just finding her cause she betrayed you, like Damon,” she asked. “Niklaus is my brother.” and that’s when she got an expression from her. He watched with her face shocked with an amused smile. “So he was Klaus” she whispered and he only nodded. “So now tell me how you know about her.” she sighed, she had to tell him maybe they could find him and she also could get her answers. “My parents used to know her. I just know her from their pictures and journal and of course Damon, my friend. She compelled my parents and wanted to get information about something from them. But then somehow the compulsion broke and they knew what she was doing. So they just left that place and went to new york. And after five years they died which I thought to be an accident, but after knowing everything I doubt it was.'' She told him everything.

“Ah!! So they were your parents.” another voice came and they both turned to look at Klaus. She saw Elijah get tense “not know Niklaus. Leave us alone.” “I’m here to just talk, don’t worry brother,” he said with a smile. 

“How do you know about my parents?” y/n asked him. he chuckled “my men found them. They suspected them of knowing about Katherine, so when they asked them about her they didn’t say anything because of the compulsion. So they started to give them vervain to break the compulsion but when they got better and men could ask anything about her. The cowards ran breaking my hope to get her, again.” he scoffed. 

“Don’t tell me you killed them for leaving.” she felt anger rising. “Oh, c’mon I don’t give a damn about those pathetic coward humans.” “hey! What your fucking mouth,” before she could try to attack him, Elijah held her. “Oh don’t be angry love.” “ That's enough,” Elijah said, seeing Klaus teasing y/n. 

After claiming a bit y/n said “I told you everything, just stay away from Elena. Now you know she is not Katherine.” she was about to leave. “You think I was looking for Katherine. All I want is the doppelganger’s blood and now I have her doppelganger, I don’t care about her.'' Klaus said, making her angry. “Don’t tempt me to do something I don’t want to” she tried to warn him but of course he just laughed on her face. He came near her and said in a low dangerous voice “you can’t give a scratch to us. We are the first original vampires. You can’t kill us.” she gulped, now she knew she was fucked and then she let her guard down a little, for the sake of Elena. She sighed “If all you need is blood, then don’t stop searching for her. Your brother also wants to find her and us too. Damon and I also were searching for her. I also want my answers. Maybe if we could work together we could find her. Just leave Elena.”

“Ah love, as much as impatient right now still I ‘ll give you a chance. It’s your choice, consider it a challenge or a chance. Find me here, and then I'll give you Elena until then I’ll keep taking her blood and make my army. The day you found me, Katherine Pierce, Elena is free.” he said like he was doing her some favor.

“You can’t take her with you. You can’t do that,” she said exasperated. “He’ll keep her here. I’ll make sure of that. And he won’t hurt her. I give you my words y/n. All you have to do is to find Katherina. As soon as possible.” Elijah said. “I’ll also help if you need any help. The last person we suspect to know her is Alexander Pierce and Jasper Sitwell, in New york.”......

Making the deal with Klaus was easier compared to, telling everyone especially to Damon, about the deal. He reacts first, then listens. Knowing Klaus would be going to take Elena’s blood he got furious, he was ready to kill Klaus but of course, y/n told him not to even think about messing with Klaus. He was a fucking original vampire. They didn’t have a chance against them.

Well, in short, after lots of arguments and yelling and emotional blackmailing, Damon gave her permission to go to new york, she didn’t need his permission but he gave it anyway. The only thing Damon was worried about, how they would find Katherine in a few days if the oldie originals couldn’t find her. But they didn’t have any other options.

After fighting over whether to go to New York or not, Damon started anything to talk about. He said he would go with y/n but of course, he had to stay with Elena to protect her. No matter how nice and calm Elijah seemed to be, she couldn’t trust him, not yet.

So after convincing Damon and everyone else she went to her room to pack her things, to get ready for her next mission, tomorrow. Little did she know, her life was turning point once again, the happiness life took from her was going to return to her after almost seventy years….
