Part 9: Mr. and Ms. San Beda 2018

ERIS' POV

That night I spent with Adi was one of the most memorable experiences with a friend ever. To be honest, first time ko lang din mag karaoke bar kasi never akong napapasok dyan nila Elaine, Ysabelle, Loelle, Karly, Tristan and Rap kahit pa hilahin na nila ako paloob.

I don't know maybe I just don't want them to hear an angelic voice HAHAHAHA charot. Or maybe kasi nakakahiya talaga sa mga taglay nilang boses. Kay Elaine at Rap palang uwian na e, may nanalo na. Or? I'm just not in the mood pag nagyayaya sila.

Or? Maybe? Maybe I just felt more comfortable to visit and experience that place for the first time with Adi. Ewan ko ba, minsan I think that we might be soul sisters talaga.

After that night, I went home sa Palawan from friday morning until monday morning since yung classes namin ay magsastart pa by wednesday that week. Sa buong time na nasa Palawan ako, despite the long distance, me and Adi didn't loose connection.

Coming back to Manila, the first thing I did was to come with Adi sa pagbili ng gift for her fav inaanak daw sa Batangas sa SM Mall Of Asia. Pang malakasan talaga 'to pwede namang sa divisoria nalang ulit HAHAHAHA.

I also met her friends that day except kay Kane daw na may flight. All of them were nice especially Ivy and Emil kaya naman sila yung naka close ko agad.

From that day forward, it's been a regular thing na rin yung pagsundo sakin ni Adi tuwing friday to eat somewhere. Minsan sumasabay samin sina Karly, Elaine, Ysa, and Rap kaya naman naging close na rin sila with Adi especially Elaine.

Our bond became stronger as I built friendships with her friends, Adi built friendships with my friends and both our friends to each other.

ADI'S POV

It's friday today which means that I will be seeing Eris. Ang saya lang na naging regular na yung paglabas namin every friday after hell week which is every week for us med and law students HAHAHAHAHA.

Eris was running a bit late today kasi sanay ako na by 4:15 andito na siya with me sa sasakyan pero 4:30 and wala pa rin.

I waited for 30 minutes more and then finally, I saw her walking towards the car.

Sobrang ganda pala neto ni Eris. The way she stands, walks and stares at something is just wow, I don't know. Siguro kung ngayon ko lang siya makikita iisipin ko na siya yung pang beauty queen type.

I went outside the car to greet her.

"Hi, miss grapes!" Pagbati ko sa kanya.

"Sira. Hi, Eadrianne!" Pagbati niya naman sakin. Looks like she's getting used to call me by my second name na kapag iba yung nagsabi ang weird pakinggan HAHAHAHA.

I opened the door for her and went back to the driver's seat.

As I started the car, parang ang weird lang kasi medyo tahimik si Eris ngayon. Usually punong puno na agad siya ng chika to the point na hindi na ako makakapag share nung akin sa dami.

I started driving at ilang minutes na ang nakalipas, hindi pa rin siya umiimik o nagkekwento ng kahit ano kaya naisipan ko nalang siyang tanungin kung may problema ba siya or what.

"Eris?" I asked.

"Hmm?" She said.

"Are you okay? May problema ba?" I asked.

"None. I'm good! Saan tayo today?" She asked and smiled. However, I feel like there's really something bothering her.

"Wag ako, Amorelle. There's something bothering you." I said.
