ERIS' POV

God, thank you. Pancit Canton lang naman ang hinihingi ko sayo pero you gave me Carbonara. Hindi lang po pala Carbonara 'to. Parang isang buong meal eh. Pinagsama sama nang appetizer, main course at dessert! Nakakabaliw sa saya, sorry po, opo.

Iba ka pong magbigay ng blessing, iba. I never thought you'd give me Adi but, thank you. Words will never be enough just to thank you.

I danced and sang with Adi under the rain that has been pouring for almost an hour now. I really love this moment with her. Aside from finally, she told me she loves me, para lang kaming mga bata. Just playing and fooling around, trying to be happy and not bothering to care about the world.

"Can I walk you home tonight?" Adi asked.

I smiled, "oo naman."

We started walking kasi in 15 minutes time, makakarating din naman kami sa apartment. It's not that far.

We didn't talk as we walked but I felt it that we both just appreciated each other's presence as we did. Ramdam na ramdam ko sa mga simpleng sulyap at ang pagbangga ng kamay namin sa isa't isa na para bang ngayon pa kami nagkahiyaan na hawakan ito.

But suddenly, after minutes of walking under the rain, Adi held my hand. I tightened our hold of each other's hands and time passed by too fast, nakarating na rin kami sa apartment ko.

I went to the main door to open it and left Adi standing outside.

When I opened the door, Adi said, "i'll see you tomorrow?"

"Why?" I asked.

"We're going on a date."

"Aba aba, Eadrianne. Hindi ka naman nagtatanong, bakit ako sasama?" Pagbibiro niya.

"Kasi automatic na yon, tayo na. Kung dati every friday lang, ngayon everyday na." Adi held me with one hand by the waist and pulled me closer to her.

I was not able to speak, sobrang naninibago pa rin na siya na ang gumagalaw ng baso ngayon. At yung mga titig niyang ganito, jusko, nakakapanghina.

"Pero if you want to make it formal-" Her face went closer to my ears as she whispered, "Will you go out on a date with me?"

Feeling her breath on the skin of my ears just weakened my whole body a lot more. My ears became hot and for sure it's turning red now as I also felt goosebumps behind my neck.

From whispering directly to my ears, Adi went back to facing me directly, with just a minimal space separating our faces.

"Wala talagang sagot?" She chuckled, still gazing at my eyes. "Sure-" My voice broke, trying to calm myself from this emerging feeling that I can't directly say what is.

Adi smiled, as she was like leaning in slowly to kiss me. I gulped, expecting that I'd be feeling her lips on mine again.

When our lips were less than an inch away, I saw her eyes looking at mine, went down to my lips.

She smiled when she had a clear look at it and I just bit my lip out of being shy.

"Goodnight." She said and took her hand away from holding my waist.
