Part 25: Pink Flowers

THIRD PERSON POV

Gab and Eris made an agreement that they will not pressure Adi in choosing to be with only one of them if there will be times that they'd plan something for her.

They both agreed on messaging each other first kung kailan sila may balak na puntahan or gawin with Adi para hindi sila magkasabay kung biglaan man.

Eris also said that she will still not take advantage of her even if she already said she likes her kasi she realized na tama si Gab. Hindi niya pwedeng iclaim at bakuran si Adi because she never said that they're already together.

Their last night in Puerto Galera was just also just full of moments with their respective friends and as a group. Hindi na masyadong nagkausap ang tatlo dahil nilaan talaga nila ang huling gabi para mag enjoy as friends.

The next day came fast than expected and they were about to go back to Manila. Sa coaster bus papunta ng pier sa Calapan, Adi sat with Eris but they were not able to talk dahil parehas na pagod at inaantok. Sa boat naman going to Batangas Pier, Adi sat with Gab dahil ito ang nakakaalam kung paano ba siya hindi mahihilo at masusuka sa byahe. And when they finally arrived at Batangas, sumakay na ulit sila sa coaster bus at sina Eris at Adi ulit ang nagkatabi ng upuan sa may likuran beside Elaine and Emil.

"Hi." Pagbati ni Adi kay Eris nang umayos na ito ng upo.

"Hi?" Pagtataka ni Eris dahil bakit naman Hi ang sinabi nito, she thought.

"Wala lang, we haven't had a real conversation since that night I said-"

"About that, gusto ko talagang mapag usapan natin yon nang maayos. Can we? Ngayon na?"

"Oo naman"

Inayos ng dalawa ang upo nila and kahit hindi sabihin kita sa gestures and facial expressions nila na pareho silang kinakabahan sa sasabihin ng isa't isa.

"Sino munang mauuna?" Eris asked.

"Ikaw muna, I'll listen lang."

Eris breathed deeply. " That night, masaya ako na mas nakilala natin ang isa't isa. We shared our own stories, our opinions, and our dreams. I was happy to know that even if I told you that I love you, you still considered me as a friend. Hindi naging awkward para sayo at naaappreciate ko, sobra."

"And that moment you said that you like me, sobrang saya ko Adi. I wanted to scream, jump, kiss you, just name lahat ng ginagawa ng taong masaya pagkatapos magulat, muntik ko nang gawin. Pero yesterday when we spent most of our time apart I had the chance to think about things. Naisip ko na baka lasing ka lang o nabigla but when Gab told me na sinabi mo sa kanya I knew you remember everything at wala kang itatanggi. But, ang naisip ko rin naman ngayon, ayokong pangunahan ka pero hindi kaya dahil lang mahal kita kaya sinabi mong gusto mo ako?" Eris added.

The two were both silent since Eris paused and si Adi, pinapakiramdaman niya kung may sasabihin pa ba ang isa. Ayaw niya namang sumingit nalang bigla habang nagsasalita ito.

"I love you, Adi. I'd be the happiest if you love or just like me back. Pero ayoko namang mangyari lang yon dahil pakiramdam mo, kailangan mo. Kasi kung oo, hindi mo kailangan. Wala akong hinihinging kapalit. I'm just here, yun lang. Just be Adi and don't bother liking someone you really don't." Eris added.

Adi looked at her eyes as if asking kung tapos na ba siya and Eris just nodded which made Adi reply to what she just said.

"Hay, Eris Amorelle Alcantara. Always being the overthinker and pala desisyon that she is." Natatawang sabi naman nito.
