"Who are you and why the fuck are you in this house?"Imani couldn't speak. It was as if him speaking and standing before her had ripped her vocal chords right out. She couldn't think straight, her mind frozen.
"Jungkook." Someone speaks from behind her. She hadn't known them for no longer than thirty minutes but it was long enough to tell who had said something.
Jungkook.
The man who stood before her looked past Imani, and into the eyes of Hoseok who looked to be startled by the scene before him.
"Who is this girl? And why were you two not with us as we were finishing drills?" The man - Jungkook questions, placing his hand on Imani's shoulder and carelessly shoving her to the side.
Imani huffed, her feet stumbling a bit but she didn't fall or anything. He didn't push her that hard but it was still rude and rough.
"She's the reason why. Jimin blacked out during his lap and collided with her. She had a blackout so we helped her inside..." Hoseok explained.
Jungkook looked slightly to the left of Hoseok where Jimin was standing. "It's true." Jimin confirmed.
Imani's breathing picked up once she seen Jungkook take a few more steps in. He walked with power and authority, and she realized how everybody around him seemed to cower in his presence.
It was almost as if he demanded attention without even opening his mouth. And honestly, he didn't really have to ask for it.
Despite Imani not knowing who the hell these people were, there was something inside of her telling her that he was above them all.
Not in a cocky, arrogant way. But in an honorable and respectable way. They all respected him and he respected them as well, he was just above them somehow.
"I need to speak with you both in the hall." He says.
Afterwards, the three of them scatter off to the hall. Imani was alone, standing in the main room with a bunch of people looking at her as if she were alien.
They all stared at her silently, their piercing eyes judging her. Imani slowly peels away from the wall, going for an escape once more.
But it was no use.
"Don't move until I get back." A voice booms from the hallway.
It was Jungkook's voice.
Usually, Imani wouldn't listen. She had never been in a situation like this but she couldn't bring herself to stand still knowing that there was an opportunity to escape.
Yet somehow, even with this thought in mind, she couldn't move.
Jungkook's demand had her locked in her spot. Waiting for him to return as if she were some pet.
