4 am.

Imani found herself sitting up in bed with a heavy feeling residing in the left side of her head. It's been awhile since she'd had a headache this bad to the point where it woke her up from her sleep. She was alarmed.

"Oh shit." She utters a hard curse, holding the side of her head with a fuzzy right hand. She could hear the firm snores from Jungkook as he slept beside her, but didn't bother to look at him as she stood up from the bed carefully.

Apart of her knew that this headache was his fault. Was all of their faults. She hadn't forgotten what she had seen earlier that day. In fact, flashes of the event appeared in her dreams, turning the adventurous slumber movies into frightening nightmares. Imani was haunted by visions of the people whom she thought to be human beings, turning into hounds damn near taller than her. So excuse her for having a headache.

She didn't know how she did it, but she managed to make it through the dark room and out into the dimly lit hallway. With it on her mind to get some water, she slid her feet across the cold floors in the direction of the kitchen. When she made it to her destination, she sighed and lowered her hand from her head. Frizzy curls tickling her naked shoulders as she gravitated towards the fridge.

Imani opened the fridge. The bright light hitting her eyes causing her to scrunch her brows as she grabbed a bottle of water. Eagerly, she untwisted the cap and brought it up to her lips. As she gulped down her first few sips, her body calmed and the headache only slightly reduced. But this was okay for now.

"The only good thing about this place is that they keep groceries." She mumbled, placing the water bottle down on the counter.

She didn't want to go back to the bedroom just yet. Jungkook's presence was...strong. It was overwhelming. Even if he was only in the bed, she could feel him all over the room. It was odd and suffocating. She needed a break.

Inevitably, thoughts about these past few days came rushing back. Imani thought about her grandmother, her uncle, Lenzie and then her grandmother again.

She thought about the necklace, and how she had been asked to wear it at all times but had taken it off to rest because of the way it made her skin tingle everytime she put it on.

She thought about Jimin and Hoseok and how, if only they had let her go after finding her, she probably wouldn't be in any of this mess.

And even after thinking about all of these people and how they contributed on to her current situation, imani was still confused.

It sucked. It sucked so fucking bad. She thought so much but still couldn't make sense out of anything. At this point, she didn't see the value in thinking anymore. What was the purpose If the outcome would be confusion every single time? Imani felt like she was trapped in a maze.

All of the sudden, her stomach felt heavy. Like a minor cramp in the center. Similar to the ones she got during ovulation, although she knew her period wasn't due quite yet. It was weird.
