"Great work today guys. Let's head back to the loft and freshen up. I need this fish cleaned and today's findings refrigerated for tonight."Jungkook wasn't disappointed in his pack's hunt today. They remained on task and did what they had to do. They trained hard and stayed on track which was all he had ever asked for. Plus, nobody had revealed their true form before imani which resulted in her being left in the dark still.
Looking back at the tree stomp he had left her sitting on, the wolf narrows his sharp eyes as he stared at her from a distance. She fiddled with her fingers and faced downward, oblivious to his stare and to the proximity of the others walking around her. Jungkook sighed.
He knew he had probably upset her after raising his voice, but that's what she got for snooping. He wouldn't baby imani in any way. Although he could admit that he did feel a bit bad for how he chose to handle the situation.
Walking over to her, the alpha forced himself to keep calm. She looked as if she would stand up at any given second.
"Hey." He said, tucking his hands into the pockets of his sweatpants.
"Bye." Imani says, standing up and beginning to dust off her bottoms. Jungkook sighed.
"Look-" he starts, "I'm sorry for raising my voice at you earlier. Just don't touch my things. I respect your space and you need to respect mine."
Imani looks up at him with a serious expression. Eyebrows furrowed as she took a step closer to him.
"Respect your space because you respect mine? That's bullshit and you know it. If you respected my space, then you would've let me stay back at the loft and get my head straight before coming out here!"
"You don't need to think no more than you already have." Jungkook gritted, the dark pit of his brown eyes briefly startling imani as she backed down for only a second.
"You took me from my home Jungkook. Don't be insensitive." She defends herself, pointing het finger to his chest.
"You don't know what's going on imani. So if I were you, I would just keep my pretty little mouth shut."
"Well tell me what's going on!" By now, the pack had gathered around and were now waiting for Jungkook to lead the way. But instead of him carrying out his alpha duties, he was arguing with the most stubborn girl on this fucking planet. Amusing it was to watch. But being apart of the argument was far from fun.
Jungkook clenched his jaw. He wanted to tell her so bad. But he knew she wasn't ready. And time was slowly but surely running out. He wouldn't force her into a mentality that she wasn't born to have. But he knew it was deep down inside of her. And just like he had to learn, she had to learn as well.
"Let's go." He said, nodding towards the direction they had come from. Imani snorted offensively, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Make me." She challenged. She wasn't about to make things easy for Jungkook. He had pissed her off.
