Deciding to use the launch bay as well, I summon my ship to me. The minute it arrives, I join the other girls, stepping on a carrier-specific platform.
Reign: Since this will be your first time, I suspect it'll take some getting used to.
Me: As is to be expected.
Turning to Baxian, I have her go ahead of us to figure out who's attacking. Initially, there was a possibility that it was merely an allied fleet closing in but not long after Yat-Sen left us the sounds of battle indicated that we were under attack. Perhaps the Sakura Empire has sent ships to attempt to rescue the girls we'd captured?
Me: [Baxian, while you are mainly to identify our assailants don't hold back. You're free to fire at will.]
Baxian: [Okay!]
Me: Han Yu. Go and assist her but keep out of sight until you're able to identify their submarines.
Han Yu: Understood.
Me: Everyone else, we'll be engaging their fleet head-on. While the others take care of their subs we'll aim to drive them away from the capital. Remember, not one enemy should make it into the harbour!

Not even waiting on us to confirm, Albacore fires her torpedoes as the supposed target but by doing so she confirms for the rest of us that it is indeed another submarine as the target surprisingly dodges all three torpedoes. She's fast...
Nautilus: [Are we sure it's an enemy? Dragon Empery doesn't have any submarines.]
Archerfish: [Enemy or not, we've already engaged her so it's unlikely she'll not return the favour. Besides (turns) she's already coming this way.]

Seeing Archerfish also fire her torpedoes at the approaching girl, Nautilus and I break our holding formation to better position ourselves to open fire but before I can even aim properly, the girl whizzes by and somehow manages to get behind Albacore, albeit heading away from our fleet.
Still, as she speeds by, she turns and gestures in our direction. Seconds later, torpedoes begin jetting our way. Almost slipping, I barely manage to dodge as one whizzes by but a soft thud later pulls my attention in the direction of Albacore only to find her sinking towards the reef some distance below us.

Turning to face our attacker, I fire my torpedoes after her but no sooner than I do does another girl I've never seen before appear out of nowhere. Where did she come from? I didn't even detect her on my sonar!

As if mocking me, she even sticks out her tongue as her torpedoes fly my way but I can do nothing but stare back in horror. My gun shakes in my hand as I try to pull the trigger but I'm paralyzed with fear.
