QnA surrounding 'Autophobia'!

Wtf okay so this was a roller coaster... what do you mean 8 month long coma?

Okay so in the story, Taehyung wakes up from his "3 month long coma", but in reality he never woke up. Him waking up from his "first coma" to the point he wakes up from his "other coma" is just a play from Taehyung's mind created together with his alters. So yeah the 8 month coma takes place from the day i gets bullied by Mingyu (chapter 3), until chapter 19.

So what you are saying is that the majority of the fanfic we know was a fake narrative in Taehyung's mind?

Yes! That's exactly it. It's supposed to be this huge plot twist for the reader since you don't expect it :)

Okay so both Jimin and Jungkook died at one point???

Yes, while Jimin's cause of death is unknown we do know it did bring Taehyung a lot of trauma. I rather keep the cause unknown since traumatic death events like that is difficult to y'know just "explain". 

Jungkook on the other hand died trying to save Taehyung's life. So the narrative I made up was that Jungkook accompanied Taehyung to the hospital in an ambulance. Jungkook in the front seat beside the driver and Taehyung on life support alongside professionals in the back. They were in a horrible car accident which killed Jungkook. That car accident though is the real reason to Taehyung being in a coma for such a long time. 

Wait so all of those descriptions of Jimin and Taehyung hanging out 24/7 in the beginning is a lie?

Well, technically it's both yes and no here. No, because Jimin was dead at the point the new school semester began. It's still kind of a yes though since Taehyung here was in a phase of developing Dissociative Identity Disorder, Jimin being his first alter. It's mostly based on illusions Taehyung creates, both visibly and in the form of voices.

How did Jungkook become an alter if Taehyung and him barely knew each other?

Taehyung didn't really have real friends so when this young, cool and handsome boy randomly swooped into his life and decided to risk himself for Taehyung... let's just say that our dear Tae was starstruck. Also, Taehyung with his creative mind needed more drama for his fake narrative (that in the form of a love interest) so it all made sense.

How can Jimin and Jungkook have their own POV's if they do not exist?

Before Taehyung's coma it was possible for Jungkook to have his own POV since he then still was alive. Their POV stories during the 8 month coma is basically the POV of Taehyung's alters, just in separate bodies. The mind can create crazy stuff when asleep I promise lol

What's Autophobia?

I really recommend doing your own research on the matter. I did a lot myself as preparation for this story but again, I wouldn't say I have this phobia (I have disorders related to the phobia (the reason to why it was easy to write about)) so I can't really talk for it.

What happened with the rest of the BTS members in the story?

Imagine the boys before Taehyung's coma and then after he woke up in chapter 19 (that probably only being relevant to Seokjin)... either way the narrative around them are still the same. The biggest difference is probably that Yoongi doesn't exist, only in Taehyung's coma narrative...

Was the plan always to use the ending we got?

NOPE! Definitely not. There's probably about 3 other endings I on the spot can think of that I have considered. I don't think I will reveal them though since people might like em better and that will make me question my life choices lol. No but the ending you got has been in plans for almost 2 years and I'd say I'm happy with it. Yes, it might be devastating for people when they realize both Jungkook and Jimin were dead. And yes it might be sad when people realize that the lovey dovey story never really happened but hey, I think it would be cool if we normalize that a 'happy ever after' isn't the only solution to a good story :)

Will you stop writing here on Wattpad and do you have other platforms you are active on?

As of now I'm not sure if I will upload more on Wattpad. There's is this story I've been thinking of that I really want to post, but it's not BTS related and more of a fantasy that is based on a character I myself have created. I might post that one here, but my main focus is to just write for fun sake so we'll see.
