Chapter eighty-one: "Kiss Me First"

As punishment for what he did to me, I kicked him out of the bedroom and he is now forced to sleep on the couch or in one of the guest rooms. I was on my phone chatting with Daisy while Cloud was protesting outside the door and demanded to be let in inside of his room

"Angel Let me in!" He knocked some more at the door, I turned on the mic while he was knocking

"Do you hear that Daisy? That's the sound of him getting kicked out of his room"

Daisy giggled at the other end of the line "I mean, he did deserve it though. You got in trouble with your Mom because of him"

A few minutes later the knocking stopped and I assumed he got tired and accepted his fate tonight, with Cloud out of the bedroom I was able to solo the king-sized bed on my own. I jumped and rolled on the bed with glee while chatting with Daisy some more

I got bored lying down on the bed so I stepped down and I felt the cold floor because of the AC blasting inside of the room like it is December, my feet slipped on the fuzzy grey slippers before walking to the huge window that has the entire city in view. There was a remote control to move the tall curtains and I used it since I could only see the view through the gap in the curtains

My hand went to touch the window and I followed the skyline of the building and the lights made from the cars down below

"Hey Penelope, my Mom and Dad wanted to see you again down at the seaside"

"They do? I haven't thought much about visiting but I am in a piano lesson job to earn money to visit you guys"

I could just smell the sea air and the field of dandelions just waiting for me, the many people I met during my stay. The lighthouse that me and Daisy snuck into to get to the top to see the entire bay up there while eating the snacks we brought, the orphanage where I played with the little kids that was near a small local church

The sandcastles we build will only be destroyed by the waves or the kids running around the beach and eating the soft served ice cream that is sold by Daisy's parents. A wave of nostalgia hit me and I wanted to feel that kind of carefree feeling again once I earn enough money and go visit them at the bay

I pulled the rug closer to the window and I got the duvet and pillows from the bed so I could sleep next to the view, my hand went up to my hair that was in a ponytail and pulled the rubber band off. My hair was now down and I was wearing my comfiest pajamas that I own
If this isn't the peak of my life I don't know what is, just sleeping next to a great view is everything I've ever wanted

Daisy kept babbling more about the news and everything that happened at the bay while I was gone when suddenly a yawn escaped from my lips unintentionally

"Oh, sorry I forgot you sleep a lot"

"No, it's fine"

"Go to sleep Penelope, I'll call you again tomorrow" she ended the call before I could even say good night to her

The screen of my phone turned black and I laid the phone next to me, sleeping on the rug is just as cozy as sleeping on the bed. The last thing before I went to sleep is the lovely glow of the city lights and the mountains behind the buildings

The next morning when I opened my eyes I found out that Cloud entered the room while I was asleep, it turns out he has the keys to the room and he entered quietly

I know he is in the room because the guy is looking down on me while he is standing up next to my sleepy body "Morning Angel"

"Fuck you Cloud" I covered myself with the duvet and ignored him, the duvet was pulled off on my upper torso and the first thing I saw was Cloud's face hovering above mines "That is a mean way to treat your boyfriend good morning" he puts on a pout

I glared at him "Cloud, there is nothing good in the morning alright? Leave me alone" I move my hand like a shoo at him

The sun was out and the blackout curtains are now closed to prevent me from being blinded by the rays, he wasn't moving at all and just sat beside me "Fine stare all you want but I'm going back to sleep"

He shrugged "Fine by me"

I rolled my eyes before closing them

Yes, I did sleep for another 3 hours and I wasn't aware of that until I woke up

Cloud was reading a novel while his sketchbook is laying beside him, he saw me staring at him "Are you awake now?"

I nodded before trying my best to sit up, my back hurts a little since the rug isn't actually the best place to sleep on

"So I guess you are gonna leave tomorrow" he reminded me before giving me his hand to help me up

"Yes, we can video call like before if you need someone to talk to" I patted his shoulder before I waddled out of the bedroom. I was not prepared by the people in the living room once I stepped out

"What are you guys doing here? Ella?" I asked her as I see she is walking by me with a book from the private library in her hand

Brie glanced at me from the terrace "Well good day to you too sis, a hello would've been nice"

I can see Oliver chasing Adeline and Mason around the penthouse while Caramia was so immersed because of the view of the city
Why on earth are my siblings and the Cloud's brothers are here? The bedroom must've been soundproofed because it was so noisy in here

Not only that was the problem but I walked out with hair that looks like a bird's nest, a drool, and an oily face. The place is so crowded
Well, you wouldn't expect to have 14 people in a penthouse to be a small crowd, do you?

I ran back inside the bedroom and closed the door "Why are all of our siblings out there?" I pointed to the door, Cloud closed the book he was reading and raised his head to face me

"What do you think? They wanted to visit so I let them" he raised a brow at me like a questioning look and a slight smirk formed at his lips

My lips formed a thin line, I kept my mouth shut and stomped my way to the bathroom to do my hygiene. I brushed my hair, brushed my teeth, and washed my face

I didn't bother to change out of my panjamas so I walked out of the bathroom feeling refreshed, while I was continuing brushing my hair, I tried to find my scrunchy and it turns out that Cloud has my scrunchy around his wrist. I gave out my hand to him "Give me my scrunchy"

He removed the scrunchy from his wrist and held it in front of my face "You mean this?"

I tried to grab it but he was too fast that he raised his arm up so I couldn't reach it, I went on to my tippy toes but even if I was on my toes I still wouldn't reach my scrunchy
Darn genetics he is too darn tall

Cloud chuckled before leaving close to me "Why don't you kiss me first" he gave me a smug grin
Oh so he is going to that route, is he?

I slowly leaned closer to him that our noses touched and his eyes widened being dumbfounded so he moved back a little, my quick hands reached for my scrunchy in time and I jumped with happiness

"In your face Marshall" I told him proudly while tying my hair up

His face was frozen in shock that it took him a minute to return to reality
