"Book club, too early to make fun of you" Syrah mumbled as she and Hayley walked towards the kitchen as Klaus's eyes traced after her and Elijah's after Hayley. It was clear to anyone that those two girls had those brothers in a knot."Good morning," Elijah spoke, leaning against the kitchen's doorframe.
Syrah shot him a slight nod, as she hadn't fully woken up. "Hey," Hayley smiled as she scoured the fridge for food when Rebekah swung open the kitchen doors, walking into the house. "Listen, I know Syrah and I are the only ones in this house that actually drink milk but would it kill any of you to make sure it's on the grocery list?"
"Speaking off, Add bleach" Rebekah spoke, before walking out of the kitchen with her yellow gloves.
"You know, I do hope my siblings were hospitable toward you in my absence." He spoke to Syrah as he discretely tried to gain Hayley's attention.
Syrah chuckled, noticing what Elijah was doing, but playing along. "In your absence, as you like to call it, which is a polite way of saying that your psychotic brother put a dagger in your heart. I have been attacked by french quarter vampires, I've had to live in a house with a secret dungeon full of coffins, and I was nearly murdered by witches who think my baby is the devil."
Elijah pulled out a carton of milk from one of the cabinets before pouring granola into a bowl for Hayley. "Oh, Milk" She smiled. "Your siblings were fine,"
"Yeah. I think their weird protectiveness is what's keeping me alive right now. I know I have you to thank for that."
"I'm just happy to see that you're in one piece." Elijah smiled at Syrah, holding up the bowl of granola and milk and handing it to Hayley. "Now, back to the murderous witches, I have some concerns."
Syrah sighed. "They're evil, and my life is still magically linked to Sophie Deveraux, which is not comforting."
"Yes, I think it's time we took care of that little problem," Elijah responded, his eyes locked with Hayley's as Syrah stared at the two.
"I am all for it," Rebekah spoke, breaking their stare. "As soon as they're unlinked, we got to leave this crap town. Who do we have to kill?" She added, dragging a dead body outside.
"Probably no one," Elijah answered, Syrah's eyebrows raised, knowing that's not true. "All right, probably everyone"

"Ow!" Syrah yelped as an excruciating pain came from her neck, close to her ear. She pulled her fingers off, finding blood on them.
"What the hell was that?" Rebekah asked, walking into the girl's room.
Syrah let out a deep breath. "I don't know. It felt like I was being stabbed" Rebekah pushed off the hair resting on Syrah's shoulder to look at the wound, which was now closed off.
