"Do you hear that?" Syrah asked as she and Hayley played a game of cards on their bed. "I think a car just pulled up,"

Hayley turned her head to the brunette. "Sy, Not a hybrid, but let's go check" She replied. The two put down their stash of cards and got up from their bed.

"Wait," Syrah said as she ran towards the coat rack, breaking off a piece of metal. "I'll fix that later," She added with a smile before the two walked out of the room cautiously.

"Who the hell are you?" Hayley asked as a beautiful blonde walked into the house like she owned the place.

"Syrah," The blonde spoke, with a heavy British accent. "You're the hybrid, my brother, Klaus, knocked up?" Rebekah realized. "I was expecting to see some kind of supernatural, miracle-baby bump. Guess you're not showing, yet." She added before pulling Syrah into a hug.

"You have your brother's manners" Hayley commented causing Syrah to crack a smile.

"And his temper, too. So watch it" Rebekah added as she pulled away from their hug. "Where's Elijah?"

"He's long gone," Syrah answered, placing the rod against the wall and crossing her arms.

"What do you mean, 'long gone?" Rebekah asked confused.

"Well one minute, he was here, making epic promises about protecting us, He was poetic about us being family and then Klaus told us he left" Syrah replied to the blonde. "Which of course, I don't believe"

"Elijah is not just any vampire and he doesn't break promises" Rebekah stated. "Which means Niklaus has done something dastardly and Klaus-like" She added. "Klaus! Get out here and tell me what you've done with our brother, you narcissistic backstabbing, wanker!" She screamed, walking into one of the living rooms.

"Ah, the yelling has begun," Syrah whined, following the blonde.

"Enough with all the shouting," Klaus spoke, walking into the living room. "Little sister, I should've known. I assumed the six dead vampires were your doing."

"They were very rude," Rebekah defended. "Trying to victimize a poor, innocent girl, just trying to find her way to the quarter. So sorry, were they friends of yours? That's right. You don't have friends" The blonde added causing Syrah to laugh.

"Sorry," Syrah whispered as all the eyes turned to her including Klaus'.

"I do have friends," Klaus argued. "I have Marcel. You remember him, don't you?" He asked the blonde as an uncomfortable look appeared on her face. "Yes, of course, you do. He fancies himself the king of the quarter, and he these rules about killing vampires. It'll be fun to see what sort of punishment he comes up with for you"

"I don't care about Marcel or his rules," Rebekah spat. "Elijah doesn't welsh on deals. What did you do to him?" She asked in a calm voice as if this was normal to her.
