Her legs hugged her chest as her chin rested on her knees. Not one drop of sleep the entire night.

Syrah sat on a side chair in Hayley's room as Hayley slept soundly. She had been there the entire night, sitting silently.

A rumble came from Syrah's stomach as she grew hungrier. She got up, stretching her legs before she sped out of the room silently. She sped downstairs, trying to find blood. She wrapped her fingers around a door handle, opening it, revealing the Mikaelson brothers seated at a dining table, two of which in spelled manacles.

"Do this and we will welcome you with open arms-" Klaus stopped, his eyes flickering to the visitor.

Syrah froze as all eyes turned to her. "Can I just grab something to eat? Very quietly, I promise I won't disturb"

"Come, take a seat," Elijah smiled, offering the empty seat beside him. She sat down, all eyes still on her.

Syrah rubbed her palms on her thighs, before picking up a beignet as a waiter poured blood into the cup in front of her. O negative, her favorite.

She picked it up instantly, the metallic taste running down her throat. She'd been having sips of Esther's blood from time to time to keep her healthy, but this. This was so much better.

"As I was saying, If you continue to oppose us, a denial of pastries will be the least of your concerns," Klaus smiled.

Kol's eyes flickered to Syrah before landing back on Klaus. "If all you wanted was my allegiance against mother dearest,  you should've just said so. Saved me a night shackled to the wall."

"Yes. This was Niklaus. My recommendation was to remove your limbs one by one until you comply." Elijah spoke to the two men.

The brunette closed her eyes, feeling overwhelmed. When it replayed in her head. Again. And again. Syrah's right leg grew more restless every second. Sitting in this room made her want to die.

It was because of him. His snarkiness. The way he carried himself confidently. The way he was okay

She was interrupted when she found Elijah pulling Finn across the table, pinning him down, in front of Syrah. Veins appeared under his eyes before he bit into Finn's neck. Syrah straightened her legs, getting up from her chair in less than a second, the abruptness startling her.

Syrah sat beside Kol, As the two watched Finn angrily pace around the room.

Kol turned to the brunette. "He looks like he's going to explode," He whispered with a chuckle.

Syrah smiled lightly, playfully slapping Kol's arm. "Shh,"

One of the dining room doors opened, revealing a waiter. "Mr. Mikaelson has requested you outside," He told Syrah. Her heart began beating fast as she followed the waiter outside, revealing Klaus and a guest.

"How is that possible?" Marcel Gerard asked, stunned as Syrah appeared.

The brunette instantly stiffened. Butterflies swarmed her stomach. She took a deep breath trying to calm herself down instead of breaking out into tears. "You requested me?"

"Yes. Syrah, Are you still working for Esther?" Klaus asked, his eyes glued to hers.

"No. No, I'm on Elijah's side." She answered, switching his name for Elijah's. "Is there anything else or?"

"I had someone buy you a phone. Go over to Camille's house. I'll tell Hayley to text you the address." Klaus told the brunette. "It's safer there. And I think you'll enjoy her company" A spark appeared in his eyes when he mentioned her name.
