Syrah sat on a chair, watching as Kol and Esther used their witch bodies for magic but Kol seemed too interested in his phone."Kol, Concentrate" Esther clapped her hands. "Unless, of course, you've finally heard from our missing Davina Claire?"
"Well, it's only a matter of time," Kol spoke. "I mean, look at this face. How long could she possibly resist?" He smirked, earning a laugh from Syrah.
Esther didn't find his words amusing. "Given your progress, I'd say indefinitely." Esther picked up a knife, poking it into her finger with a flinch and pouring her blood into a bowl. "No matter, I'll find her. Now, focus. Conjure her in your mind" She added before she began her incantations.
Syrah sat, watching the two, bored out of her mind when the bowl in Esther's hand shattered, earing her attention.
"Clever girl," Esther remarked. "She's somehow blocked our locator spells."
"Not entirely my fault then," Kol commented.
"Considering your task was keeping track of a teenager, you might wanna draw a little less attention to your absolute failure to do so," Finn spoke as he walked into the tomb.
"At least he has a task," Syrah mumbled.
"You're one to talk about failure," Kol responded. "You got that human girl to bear her soul to you yet or are you too busy playing captain to a pack of mangy dogs, to have any success as a fake headshrinker?"
"You know what your problem is?" Finn spoke, aggravating Kol.
"I would love-"
Esther sighed. "Boys," She interrupted the bickering brothers. "Now, If I'm right, Davina has the white oak stake. Find the girl, Kol, and get it back." She instructed him.
"Esther, what about me?" Syrah spoke. "I wanna do something,"
"When the time is right, my child"

"Well, I trust our message was well-received?" Finn asked the pack of werewolves with Syrah by his side.
"Loud and clear," The blonde man, Oliver, answered. "Those vampires should be gone by tomorrow." He added, eyeing the uninterested brunette.
"We can never be too careful with these creatures..." Finn spoke. "...So we'll get them with superior numbers." He turned around, facing another wolf. "Would you bring me the recruits, please? Oliver, Aiden, I have a task for you." He added, revealing a group of teenagers behind him.
"What's going on here?" Aiden asked.
"Tonight is Luna Sanguinis," Finn explained. "A blood moon. Now, One thousand years ago, your people marked this celestial event with a rite of passage. Electing not to shrink from their nature, but to embrace it... with pride, by slaying a human being and activating their curse."
Syrah stared at Finn in horror. How could he do such a horrible thing to these children? "Vincent, they're children"
"Tonight, as unturned wolves, you will kill..." Finn continued. "...with the single purpose of unleashing that warrior that lives within you."
Aiden felt anger rush through him. "They're just a bunch of kids," He spat.
"Aiden. We can no longer afford to hide our children from the horrors of war" Finn communicated. "From now on, you're either with us, or you're against us. Come with me" He told the group of children.

Syrah sighed before walking into the tomb with Olivier and Aiden. "I know that you're working with someone else, so don't even try to hide it at this point. You guys are very bad at acting"
"Who the hell are you anyway?" Oliver asked, rudely.
Syrah smiled. "That's no way to speak to someone. Didn't you ever learn manners? And besides, it doesn't matter who I am, You should be a little grateful I haven't told anyone. Let's just get this over with"
"Look, I don't know who you are and whatever but they're just a bunch of kids" Aiden pleaded. "We can't do this to them"
Syrah took a minute to think. "Okay, What's your boss's plan?"
"We need a minute," Oliver told the hybrid before dragging Aiden out of the tomb. "How do we know we can trust her?" Aiden sighed, agreeing with his friend's point.
"You don't." Syrah interrupted the two. "Don't trust me, but trust the fact that I agreed to help you with this suicide mission. Now, do you want my help or not?"

Aiden, Oliver, and Syrah led the group of children down bourbon street, which was as expected, filled with people. Werewolves surrounded the group, making sure none of them tried to escape.
"Step one," Aiden whispered to Syrah, pointing to a woman with his head. Her face was covered with her hair, a glass of alcohol in her hand. The two carefully watched as she bumped into one of the werewolves.
"Watch it," He told the girl before she pushed him back, Marcel appearing and snapping his neck. Syrah turned her head quickly, making sure he didn't see her.
Aiden turned around. "You and you," He pointed to Oliver and Syrah. "Take the kids, Split up, and find them," He told the other werewolves. "Step 2" He whispered to Syrah before running with the other wolves.
"Listen up, Listen up, we gotta go," Oliver told the group of children. "Don't ask questions, just move. Come on, let's go" He told them before turning back around and running through the crowd.
"Ollie, this way" Hayley appeared in an alley beside them. Butterflies swarmed Syrah's stomach, trying to figure out what to do. She put on the hood of her jacket to cover her face as she ran with the children, into Russo's. Oliver led the children, as Syrah stayed at the back, inside and into the kitchen, where they found Josh.
"Go ahead," Josh told the children as he opened a secret passage. "It's a passage from the prohibition days. It'll take us pretty much anywhere we want to go" He explained to Oliver, not noticing as Syrah walked through the passage in a rush.
Syrah held onto her hoodie, making sure nor Hayley nor Josh could see her face. They ran through an underground passage that smelled like sewage Before Josh used his strength to push open the metal cage at the end for the children to escape.
"Hey, Where's Marcel?" Josh asked the girl from earlier.
The girl smiled. "He's getting the getaway car."
"Hey, big mouths, shut it" Hayley whisper-yelled, a silent chuckle escaping Syrah's lips as she learned Hayley hadn't changed. "There are werewolves everywhere." As Josh and Hayley led the children to an abandoned gas station where Marcel waited with an ambulance, Syrah vamp sped back to the cemetery.

Syrah sat in front of a tomb, playing with her hair as tonight's events replayed through her head. A happy feeling in her head after seeing Hayley.
"My child, Come with me" Esther appeared out of nowhere.
Syrah chuckled. "What?"
"My son, Elijah, is here," Esther smiled. "And I think I'd like for him to know now. This way," She added before Syrah followed her. Esther led her to a tomb. "He's inside, I'll leave you to it," She said before walking away. Syrah took a deep breath before finding Elijah's hands chained up as he stared at the hybrid in disbelief.
"Hello, Elijah"
