Her POV //
For the rest of the day, it'll just be Flynn and I. I was sitting in his room, he insisted that I wait here so he could do something.
I looked through the books, especially my favourites. The Spanish Love Deception, the Wall of Winnipeg and Me, The Love Hypothesis, It Ends with Us etc.
He went above and beyond, how he knew exactly which books to get me? I'd never know.
There was a knock at the door before it opened. Flynn was shirtless, in just grey sweatpants. Drool worthy.
"Alright darling, pick a book then we can head out to the back" he instructed, intriguing me.
I looked between the books, picking TLH and linking arms with Flynn as we made our way to the back.
"Alright, I'm gonna need to cover your beautiful eyes" He said before doing so.
I got chills, what did he do?
Step after step, feeling the grass against my feet, birds chirping and Flynn's warm breath against my shoulder.
He uncovered my eyes, my jaw dropping immediately so see a massive fort set up with fairy lights and a picnic basket.
I gasped before jumping into Flynn's arms, kissing him repeatedly. I love this man with my entire heart.
"You did all this for me? Oh my god you are heaven sent! Wait why?" I began rambling making him chuckle and guide me into the fort, sitting on the air mattress.
He caressed my face, smiling wide. "Because I love you. I'm in love with you darling. I know what you need from me, I want to be there for you, for everything. Through every storm and bump in the road. I want to be your Flynn Rider... Eugene, your Aaron Blackford, Adam Carlsen, Atlas Corrigan and Aiden Graves. So many A names woah, anyway. When I think about my future, it's not just mine; it's ours. I see you, waking up beside me every day. I see you walking down the aisle. You like my last name so much? I'll give it to you baby, I'll give you anything in the world, just name it and I'll deliver it on a silver platter"
I felt tears race down my cheeks, he wiped them away and smiled at me.
This man. He is the goal, the dream. Mine.
His eyes watered slightly, making my heart melt. "So, will you do me the honour of being mine and letting forever begin now?" He asked.
I was at a loss for words, something a girl could only dream about.
I nodded eagerly, in so much awe of everything. "Yes - fuck yes, love" I managed to say before colliding our lips.
He gently put me onto his lap, cupping my face as he deepened the kiss.
We pulled away, resting our foreheads against each other, panting.
"It's you and I against the world baby" he breathed out, earning another kiss.
He placed a strand of hair behind my ears, "I want you to know some things"
I nodded for him to continue. "Hold me accountable to my actions. If I mess up or do something stupid please don't excuse my behaviour. Let me know and always put yourself first. Don't hesitate to tell me if you're uncomfortable with where I'm going or who I'm with. Don't be afraid to ask me questions. I'm yours; your man, your best friend, your hype man all in one. You can do whatever you want, just let me know that you're safe and okay" he continued, making sure I understood.
Was this man created in a lab? Did he go to some camp where he learnt all this awareness? God, I'm so lucky.
"I love you so much" I whispered, hugging him tight. He reciprocated before rubbing my back.
I pulled away, letting him reposition us so I was sitting between his legs with my back against his chest.
He picked up the book, opening up to the first page and began reading it aloud.
Flynn Romero was reading The Love Hypothesis aloud... for me. In this beautiful fort he built.
It was always him. The one you never expected to fall for but you do and you fall head first with no parachute to catch you. With no regrets because you knew from the very moment that you'd leap; you'll release yourself from anything that would stop you from falling.
THE END.
