I grabbed my duffel bag and my backpack as I ran downstairs.

It was 4 am, and I guarantee you, I was exhausted.

But I was sitting with Lena and Val, so I had to keep my eyes open.

"Mom, are we stopping at Starbucks on our way to the airport?", I asked.

"There's a Starbucks at the airport, we'll get it there. Or if anything, we'll wait until we get to LAX.", she replied.

"Alright. I also have to stop at the store in LAX anyways.", I sighed.

"I hope you have stopping at the airport store money.", dad chimed in.

"Dad, really?"

"I'm just saying. Plus, you're about to be 15, you have to be financially responsible for yourself at some point.", he shrugged.

"Dad, you give me a headache.", I groaned.

"That's what parents are supposed to do, lovebug.", he smiled, patting my shoulder.

As we got in the car, I pulled out a bottle of water.

Ever since this whole thing with my ED and the malnutrition, I've had to be very careful with my eating habits.

I've been able to lay off my anti-nausea pills, but I still use them if needed.

And once a day, I had to take a glucose test, kind of like Nick.

I had to make sure I was getting enough sugar.

And only enough, nothing more and nothing less.

As we pulled up at the airport, I grabbed my stuff out of the trunk, while I pushed the double stroller.

Trust me, I'm the part time parent here.

Alena and Valentina were both asleep, which was a blessing and a curse.

Mom and dad were sitting together, meaning I had to watch them.

And God will not be looking out for me, because I know Valentina will be up screaming at least 4 times.

We had to put the stroller in baggage claim, so I held her while dad had Alena.

Alena had the window seat, while Val sat in the middle.

I let them have the inner seats so they wouldn't be at risk of anything happening to them.

They were both asleep, so I took that opportunity to spend some well deserved time doing whatever.

And within 30 minutes, Valentina was screaming, which was my cue to get up and walk around with her.

I fed her, burped her and even held her while I took a nap.

And what do you know, not even 25 minutes later, she was screaming again.

"For God's sake.", I muttered under my breath, as I walked up and down the aisles again.

My parents were too busy sucking faces and sleeping their lives away to even notice that I kept getting up.

But I was tired, irritated and I needed coffee.
