Ashley

It's the week before the album comes out, and we've been on a couple's vacation all week.

We're just taking well deserved time to have fun with our spouses until it's back on the road.

It's kind of nostalgic in a way, because I never thought the guys would ever get back together.

As we sat by the beach at around 8 pm, we decided to watch the sunset.

We decided on Hawaii, and it wasn't a bad decision.

Aidan had his arm around me while all of us sat on the sand in our bathing suits.

The beach was empty, and it was quiet.

"We should get a better look.", Dad suggested, taking mom by the hand as he got up.

"Yeah.", we all replied, getting up and walking into the water.

I whipped out my phone, immediately taking a photo.

ashleydanielle: heyyyy hawaii 🌸

We decided it was best to go for a swim, before we left the following morning.

I grabbed my waterproof camera as we ran into the water.

"Cold, cold, cold!", I squealed, as Aidan picked me up bridal style.

"Better?", he asked, holding me in his arms.

"It's okay.", I joked.

He playfully pouted, dropping me back to the sand.

"Dad, Aides dropped me!", I called, playfully crossing my arms.

"Aidan, how could you do such a thing?", Dad gasped dramatically, mocking offense.

"Ashley, get off your ass.", Aidan playfully groaned.

He picked me up again, throwing me over his shoulder.

I screamed as he began running around with me.

"Mom! Tell him to put me down!", I squealed.

"Aidan, run faster.", mom smiled mischievously.

He ran as fast as he could, as I screamed until my throat went dry.

"Alright, just because you're 5 inches taller than me now, it does not give you any type of right to throw me over your shoulders without a warning. My heart almost lept out of my chest.", I told him as I hunched over, trying to catch my breath.

He gave me a light pat on my back before walking away.

"Dad, I have a weird request for you.", I said.

"Bring it.", he replied.

"Could you throw me in the water?", I asked.

He gave me a puzzled look.

"Why would I do that?", he raised an eyebrow.

"For the gram.", I smiled sheepishly.

"No thanks. Ask Joe.", dad waved me off.

"Josephine!", I yelled.

Joe ran to me, arms out.

"How far out do you want me to throw you?", he asked.

"Not too far, but just enough.", I replied.

"Ready?", Joe said, looking down at me as he held me bridal style.

"Do it.", I sighed, closing my eyes after I fixed my camera.

Joe tossed me into the pool like I was a piece of laundry, and I hit the sand.

"I didn't say to throw me that hard, damn!", I said, submerging from below.

"You told me to throw you. Sorry not sorry.", he shrugged, putting his hands up in surrender.

Sophie threw me a towel, which I caught.

"Thanks Soph!", I called.

"Don't mention it.", she replied, smiling a little.

I drifted off a little in a pool chair, and I suddenly felt Aidan carry me over his shoulder.

I then heard him saying good night to everyone, and getting in an elevator.

"I know you're not sleeping, Ley.", he chuckled a little.

"I don't feel like getting up though.", I mumbled.

"You gotta shower, bebe.", Aidan sighed.

"I'll do it later.", I waved him off, as we stepped out onto our floor.

"Then you're sleeping on the floor.", he shrugged.

"You wouldn't dare.", I looked into his eyes sleepily.

"Trust me, I will.", he replied.

"I love you though.", I put my thumb on his cheek after he put me down.

"I know.", he kissed me, and I put my arms around his neck.

We just stood there for a while, with our eyes closed, taking in the love.

"Now, do me a favor and go get in the shower.", I laughed, wiping my pink chapstick off his neck.

"Yes ma'am.", he replied, heading to the bathroom.
