Ashley

"Aides! I swear to god, I'm leaving without you!", I yelled.

"Hey, I had to fix the hair. You took at least 4 hours to get ready.", he put his hands up in surrender.

We got in the limo, and I immediately found a bottle of champagne.

"Half a glass?", I asked, waving the bottle around a little.

"Are you willing to risk that?", he replied.

"One glass?", I shrugged.

"Now you're talking my language."

I handed him a wine glass, pouring just enough.

"To the Grammys.", I cheered.

"To the Grammys, with my favorite girl.", he replied, kissing my cheek as our glasses clinked.

I took a sip, squinting my face at the sting.

"I think this might be the first and last time I touch alcohol.", I said.

"Oh, don't say that.", he replied, nudging me a little.

He downed his entire glass in one go, as I stared at him.

"What the hell?", I asked.

He shrugged, putting the glass away.

I eventually finished my glass as well, as we stepped out of the limo.

"And here they are! The lovely Ashley and Aidan! How are you both?", the interviewer asked.

"We're great, it's great to be here.", I smiled.

"Ashley, a little birdie told me you're performing your new single, and you're nominated for 3 awards tonight! Congratulations!", the interviewer exclaimed.

"Thank you, thank you. And yeah, I have something special for tonight.", I replied.

"Aidan, how do you feel about all of this? Are you proud of Ashley?"

"Of course. She's amazing at what she does, and she deserves the world.", he smiled at me, kissing my cheek as the interviewer awwed.

"You guys are adorable. Have a good night you two!", she let us go, as I said my goodbyes.

"Alright, we can go say hi to some people, then we've got to meet my parents downstairs.", I told Aidan as we walked inside.

We got on the red carpet, and after saying hi to almost everyone, we made it to where we needed to be.

"Baby! You look so beautiful.", mom smiled, hugging me.

"Thank you mom.", I smiled, hugging her tightly.

"You look like a princess, lovebug.", dad said, twirling me.

I laughed as I hugged him.

"I really have no idea on how I'm going to sit, but I'll make it work.", I huffed, making Aidan and my parents laugh.

I eventually figured it out, and the show started.

The host was Alicia Keys, and she was killing it.

The first category, best pop vocal album was coming up, and I was up against some really powerful people.

"And the winner is, Flying to Fall, Ashlyn."

The crowd went wild as my hands went over my mouth.

"Go, go!", my parents said, pushing me out of my seat.
