Peter walked reece back to her house, clutching her hand in his. he hadn't stopped smiling since the kiss and honestly, reece couldn't even believe it happened. the only proof she had was the lingering feeling of his lips pressed against her own, she traced her fingers against them with a small smile. they arrived at her front porch, but before reece could say anything to him, peter turned around like he heard something.
"i've, uh, i've got to go." he said, turning back around to look at her with an apologetic frown.
"duty calls?" she questioned, smiling at the boy.
"sure does." he pulled her for another kiss before he leaned his forehead onto hers. "goodnight, reece."
"goodnight, peter." she bit her lip to contain her smile and watched as he ran off into the danger of the city.
she went to bed that night with a permanent smile on her face. little did she know, peter was busy saving civilians from a giant, mutant lizard.

"Reece, you seen the news?" ryan asked his daughter who walked down the stairs, smiling and ready for school.
"no, what's up?" she asked, sitting on the couch. captain stacy was on the screen, talking about the accident that happened on the williamsburg bridge. she nearly snoozed off, but she heard the words that made her sit up completely straight.
"i am issuing an arrest warrant for the masked vigilante known as spider-man." stacy stated, looking around the group of reporters.
"what the fuck?" she whispered, looking down when her phone buzzed in her hand. "dad, i'm going to school. i love you." she put her backpack on her shoulder and walked out of the house.

Peter and reece sat on the bleachers of the football field, the boys were practicing, though they couldn't care less. peter was explaining to reece how he became spider-man, which ended up in him handing her a vile with the spider inside.
"this thing is gonna give me nightmares if i keep looking at it." reece inspected the insect, turning the vile over to get a better angle.
