The rest of the year went by smoothly. After Glastonbury, Chloe Erlich watched as Americans scrambled to find the new best thing, and often ignoring the best of what was in front of them. It was like they were picking through the sounds that were left and pushing them all together.

Once again. Chloe did not care for Americans. She was quite a nationalist in that regard.

However- Oasis had in fact delivered an album. And it was gorgeous. She hadn't doubted the Gallagher's for a minute, especially after watching them at Glastonbury.

But definitely maybe had become one of the UK's best selling albums and had become a classic in such a short amount of time.

They were cocky little bastards, who liked playing with the press. Which was part of their appeal.

Maxis Erlich had liked their album alright, but eventually decided that he wasn't a fan of the boys themselves. Despite having held a decent conversation with them, after watching the two brothers fight one another and singe a bunch of other bands for no particular reason, Maxis had defined himself as a Blur and Pulp person.

Blur, had however begun to enjoy themselves in the eye of the press, coming off as playful little bastards who did their hair and liked the attention.

Damon Albarn had become loved or rather adored by thousands of people around the world, defining himself as a bit of a sex symbol in a sense. To be fair, he did unintentionally represent himself as a flirt.

Parklife was everywhere.

You couldn't walk into a record store in London without hearing one song played at least once.

But that was becoming a similar thing with Oasis now as well.

These bands were growing far bigger than any of the Erlich's, well besides Maxis, had thought when they'd met the two of them back at Glastonbury.

Hans Erlich on the other side of things, was doing quite well himself. As he hosted Saturday Night Live twice, using his monologue to take shots at his family. And then regularly interviewing people and celebrities his family had never been quite so fond of.

Americans adored his cheeky humor, and boosted his ratings a shit ton. Brit's on the other hand, couldn't stand him, especially as he chose to poke fun at their culture and family repeatedly.

The tabloids attacked him quite frequently, despite Maxis trying to buy out the stories so they'd never hit the stands.

Moving forwards.

WaitTime was now on a definitive break, following Karlie Kloss' Rolling Stone interview which painted a rather unflattering picture of the band's dynamic and of Avery Pince in general.

Something that many celebrities had come out to denounce almost immediately- ranging from Courtney Love, Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, all of Blur to people such as Keanu Reeves, Madonna, Johnny Depp and Hans Erlich.

Who had even had Pince as a guest star, a whopping 5 times.

Hans was aware of who his sister didn't like, and decided that adding salt to an old wound would be the best way to go.

As the year wrapped up, Chloe threw herself into her work, documenting other artists and even taking up a more permanent job doing band photography for NME, as well as joining tours for certain artists if they offered a decent enough pay rate.

Despite her efforts, she hadn't regained contact with Damon Albarn, nor had she heard a peep from him regarding her lighter.
