Multiple sources say that Chloe Erlich and Ewan McGregor are finding their marriage on the rocks over the past few months. Which some find odd, seeing as how close the two have been in the past, ranging from a slew of public appearances at events, or being spotted out and about. The two have seemed to be attached at the hip since their introduction in 1995, at McGregor's breakout film Trainspotting.
Erlich, daughter of rockstar Maxis Erlich, and a skilled photographer- and McGregor, married in the year 1998 and share two children; May McGregor (3) and Della McGregor (1). The family cites their home base as their home in Notting Hill-
however, they have been in Los Angeles since early 1999 for the filming of McGregor's newest films- a blockbuster film titled Moulin Rouge; directed by Baz Luhrmann and co-starring Nicole Kidman, and Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, in which McGregor will continue playing the fan favorite Obi-Wan Kenobi.
One source close to Erlich says that the film Moulin Rouge is more noticeably the cause of their newfound issues, as Erlich isn't fond of McGregor's relationship to Nicole Kidman, while another says that the issue stems deeper.
Chloe Erlich (pictured below) was recently spotted in London, while McGregor was seen in LA a few hours earlier. The two have gone on record saying that they'd never split up their children from the other parent- but, it seems that Erlich has taken herself and their children to London indefinitely.

McGregor (also pictured below) was spotted practicing his lightsaber skills for the upcoming film Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, McGregor looks older in this movie, sporting a longer hair do and beard, much different than his appearance in the first film.
However, minutes later, McGregor was spotted leaving the set on the telephone, having a what appeared to be a very deep and upsetting conversation, in which he seems to be arguing with someone. Could it be Chloe Erlich?

Many close to the family, hope that they are able to fix their problems for the sake of their children- and for one another.
A source said the following about Chloe and Ewan's relationship.
"The two were bound to fight sometime. I mean they've never really had it out. And that's bad, especially after 5 years. I think they've had some loose ends they never really tied up. But I can say that they do love one another. That's fucking certain. And it's never changed. But I think they probably just needed a break. I doubt it's permanent."
While another said this:
"Chloe and Ewan are very stressed. They tend to get jealous over the over a lot, and pick cat fights with one another a lot. I don't think this'll be something permanent and it's surprising that Ewan hasn't flown over to London to see them yet. If there's anything he loves it's his girls. They're his pride and joy."
We hope that this couple figures it all out, as they've remained a fan favorite with one another for years.
