True enough, when you woke up, instant regret filled your gut when events from last night occurred to you. With a deep sigh, you turned to lay on your stomach, ignoring the pair of tattooed arms that were loosely wrapped around your waist. You peeked at your side and saw how peaceful he looked when he's asleep.

You remembered all of it. How he suddenly picked you up in the middle of watching the movie with Dash, unannounced. Dash protested at first, seeing how he interrupted you both and you can feel how much she hated him from where you were sitting. She was even speechless when you told her you'll continue the movie with her next time. You glanced at her for the last time, and saw how she shake her head, clearly disappointed. The hand on your lower back guided you towards his car silently, not uttering a word about his sudden appearance.

The worst thing about it, is you feel so guilty for not being genuinely sorry to Dash. It's like no matter what he does, he still has that effect on you. That's why you're desperately trying to get it off of you for a while now.

You hate lying to yourself. There's no denying he's beautiful. Fuck, he's even prettier than you. God definitely took his precious time to create this man (or was it Satan?). His long lashes, his crooked nose that looked good in both front and sideways, and the freckles on his face were some of his noticeable features. He is a gorgeous man, but he's a dickhead. An asshole.

Some might wonder why you're still with him if they knew the whole story, or if they're watching you right now like you're one of the main characters in a series. To be honest, you have no idea. You don't even know why you're still here, beside him, if you can just walk away even if you wanted to.

Sounds cliché as hell, but love wasn't there anymore. There was a tiny bit emotion left when you're with him, and you don't know whether it's your feelings towards him or anger. It's different now; the teenager you would feel the so-called-butterflies in the stomach and would feel giddy only for him. But the you now? Nada. You couldn't blame yourself for feeling this way because it was all his fault. The 5 year relationship proved that no matter how long you've been with someone, that doesn't mean they won't have the guts to cheat on you. That's why they cheat. They get bored. They want a new taste.

Highschool sweethearts, you mentally scoffed in the back of your head. He was such a different man back then. He always make sure to give you assurance, he would always take you out on a date, and would actually do anything for you. Like, anything. You gave him everything. You made him your everything. Your first love, sex, date, boyfriend, and you said it to yourself before that he would be the last.

You're not quite sure if you're still true to your words until now.

A sigh escaped your lips as you try to get out of his embrace. The curtains were closed, thank god, and you take a quick look at his all-too-familiar room before going inside the bathroom. When you were done thinking how ridiculous you were to come here in the first place, you watched him sleep soundly. His left arm was still draped over the space where you previously laid, and was still the heavy sleeper that he is.

That's the only thing that didn't change, I guess.

Thankfully, you remembered you have to buy groceries, so you actually have an excuse (not like you need any) to leave him here. You began to gather your things but thought about showering first so you wouldn't have to go to your place before going grocery shopping. And you did, you know he wouldn't mind.

He's a financially stable man. Explains why there are ladies following him everywhere he goes now. He has the looks, job, talent and money; basically everything. His parents supported him until he finished college, wanting for him to be a business man. So he did, taking over their family's business, and since then, they never really took a liking to you (as if you liked them). They were that kind of family who wanted someone as rich as them for their son, typically like in the movies. Obviously, you are not. You only met them once and you were glad at that, or else you would've said harsh things to them for basically insulting your family's name in front of Jax's whole family at the first meeting.
