Dash was laying on your bed, eyes up at the ceiling. You needed to tell someone about your situation, so you quickly called your bestfriend to sleep over and she didn't hesitate, arriving at your house in 15 minutes. She was talking about the hell week she had, and you listened. Well, you tried.

She sat up, giving you a pointed look. "Tell me what's wrong."

"Huh?"

She rolled her eyes at you. "Come on, I can feel it. You can never keep anything from me, you know that."

It's true, but you didn't say that. You nodded and took a deep breath, then let out everything you've been keeping for days now. How upset you are with your father, the problem you're dealing with right now, and how things ended with Jax. Despite mentioning the bad ones, she cheered when she heard you were finally single. Then, she returned to being concerned, her eyebrows furrowed.

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner? You could've died without me knowing!" she shake your arm, and you groaned. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't have the guts to tell you because I was still processing it. That shit scared me, Dash." her eyes softened, scooting closer to you. "It's fine, I'm sorry. This is messed up, Y/N. You have to call the police on this."

You shake your head. "No, D. I can't. I know how dangerous their boss is, and he'd probably kill both me and my dad before we have the chance to tell the police." you've thought about this, but you know things are going to get messier if the police gets involved. Your dad was the one who owes them money, not the other way around. It's only right for them to demand you to pay, and it would make no sense in the police station if you told them the story.

Sukuna Ryomen wasn't that hard to find in the internet. He's a famous businessman, that owns a wine factory, and was convicted for selling an adulterated drug for six months. He was also accussed of sexual harassment by his former assistant but was dismissed by the court. You read comments how they're victim-blaming her and you felt sad for the woman. You know he was a disgusting, dangerous man, and it wouldn't be impossible that he paid someone so his image won't get ruined. True enough, his evil doings are irrelevant now. There might be some more in the internet, but you never dug too deep to know more about his skeletons. You've seen enough proof how vile he is.

"This is sooo messed up." worry washed her face. "What are you gonna do about it? How can I help?"

You sighed, squeezing your eyes shut. You bumped into your father this morning but you both didn't say a word. What else would he say? Sorry that he fucked up again? It was better to leave him be than even try interact with him. Being in this house didn't feel like home anymore, and you blame it all on him. You weren't going to wait for someone to shoot a bullet in your heads, so you needed to do something. Quick.

An idea popped your head, mouth slight parting in realization. You closed it and shake the thought off, no. Don't even think about it. But it was too late, Dash caught on too quickly. She's very observant and you didn't need that trait of hers now.

Her jaw fell open, then pointed at you with widened eyes. "Don't tell me you're thinking of—"

"No!"

"Yes!"

You groaned, but she was a persistent person, so she held your shoulders with a wild expression plastered on her face. "That's the only option you have right now!" you shake your head repeatedly, your pride getting to you. Too prideful to ask for help. Too prideful to admit that you need help.

She rolled her eyes when she saw the look you gave her. "Dash, it's too dangerous."

"You can't let this go on for days, Y/N. Who knows when they'll pursue you again? And let's face it, you can't get a big amount like 50 grand from your jobs— no offense. Even if it's your payday tomorrow, that won't even reach half of the amount they're demanding from your dad!"
