Amity's POV:

 ...It's been....an 'ok' week, mother's her usual self, yelling, bossing, telling, others stuff, yeah, oh and she was....not ok, finding out Ed had a boy in his room, she was rambling for hours un end about it then wouldn't stop talking about it, telling everyone she could, somehow Ed convinced her to let hunter stay but hunter had to do stuff for her, which was.....fair? I guess

 I got the texts ...uh..Leo sent about this whole...job, thing, still getting used to that, still trying to grasp the concept, the concept of me working for a supposed to be myth god, wow...and I've been to hell! That's crazy!! We arranged things around and he pops up everywhere, and he's annoying, I don't know how his friend or nieces or whatever handle him

 Today is Thursday, and....well, Luz haven't been so happy, all sunshine and rainbows like she usually is, things still seem heated between her and hunter, when she try to speak to hunter he would brush it off and ignore her or when she got some words in, he would get frustrated and would grumble

 I tried helping but she always said that it wouldn't with what she did, after yesterday I tried to not mention helping, we still hang out, I mean, she's a bit less talkative but we're good...I hope, I hope I didn't push too much with trying to help, I wonder if she's just hanging out cause she feels bad about telling me that she doesn't want to do it? Maybe she's faking all the laughs and smiles and actually is bored with me and doesn't want to hang out, oh my god what did I do!?

 Calm down amity, that's silly...right?.......right?

 Mom makes hunter dress better, instead of his usual wear, jeans/ sweat pants and t shirt with a hoodie, she makes him where brown dress pants, nice shoes, a white long sleeve button up dress shirt, cause of the cold, and a sleeveless yellow sweater vest over top, and makes him fix his hair all nice like us

 "Holy frick! Oh my god! Don't scare me like that!...Huff, look, just because your my boss doesn't mean you have to check up on me every day, you know it's sorta very strange that a grown adult man does that to a 16 year old, it's a bit unsettling"

 "Gasp! Oh!? And how old you you think I am?"

 "I dont know, hundreds of thousands of years old? I guess?"

 "That hurt, sure, in human years, mortal years, but how old do you think I am?, permanently?"

 Permanently? He stays the same age? That's strange? He doesn't ages while the years go by?

 "You stay the same age forever?"

 "Oh nono no, I can become any age I want to be, but this age I stick with"

 "Oh, then how old are you?"

"26"

 "26!?"

 "I know right  I can't really go over 30 until I get to thirty, then I'll have the whole ten to myself until I reach forty, and that's a whole nother ten hundred thousand years, till my 27th bday anyways, so, pfft"

 Woah! I thought he looked young because he was a god but I didn't know that!

 "So, I've worked out a time and setting for you to meet your partner, and I'll probably introduce you to my nieces as well, most likely not...but there's a catch to signing the contract"

 "And that is?"

 "Well, if your going to work for me, your going to sign a contract that says you respect the rules, Will remember them, even if I don't give a fuck if you follow them, will get tasks done, wont try to kill me, and give up half your mortality to me and will work for me until....I don't know"

 Ok, a lot of information, give up half of my mortality to him? That doesn't seem so bad, the other stuff doesn't sound hard, except I don't know what 'kind' or which kind I'm going to be doing, Leo explained the main ones and the simple quick ones and they don't seem so hard, though you have to keep a low profile

 "Ok"

 "Alright! That's gre-"

"Wait!......I would get to have magic as well when I sign, that's my condition...well one"

 "What!?"

 "Uh huh"

 "No mortal has ever possessed magical abilities-"

 "But I won't be, I'll be half mortal, so only give me a few abilities"

 He thought it over making whiny sound, pouting a bit then sighing heavily and sticking out his hand "alright, fine, but I pick half, and you pick half, don't worry, I won't pick sucky one's, I hate those"

 I shook his hand happy with the deal "what are the other conditions?"

"I'll think of those later" and now, I must head back home, walking in the woods help relax me but it's always ruined by curfew "wait! I'll pick you up at 6:00 tonight so get ready!"

 "But that's only...an hour away!"

 "Yeah, so hustle home honey comb!"

 Ugh, do you believe this guy? What an idiot, funny, but annoying, I seriously doubt his nieces don't get annoyed, great, I'm going to meet my partner I know nothing about, damn it I should have asked, and meet his nieces? That can't be bad, right? He did say most likely not...so...heh

 Walking home was alright, but when I got there there was a huge surprise waiting for me, Luz and hunter actually talking, it was a bit of a shocker but I'm glad that they're talking, it seems a bit awkward between them but they look like they're working it out, hunter who had streaky eyes and awkward grin saw me and waved, then Luz saw me and had a big smile on her face with red puffy eyes and a runny nose and waved also

 Anyways, on to getting ready for tonight, I took a shower, blow dried my hair, brushed my teeth ...and onto picking out an outfit, let's go with.... Black ripped jeans, converse... white long sleeve button up shirt under a bit big black Thrasher t shirt, ..,,and maybe a red and black flannel tied around my wait....of course the twins usually help me sneak these kind of clothing from my mother but surprisingly, she hasn't noticed them

 I put on a small puff of perfume and put up my hair, should I wear my chain? It's one of my favorites, it has a small heard hot on it, i don't know what happened to the key, I bet it's somewhere in the stash I have

 I put it on anyways and check myself in the mirror, I don't look bad,.. I don't look bad.....anyways, it's almost 6:00 so I gotta get prepared, I'm truthfully pretty calm, I'm not really panicking like I usually am...

 "Hey, if you wan fall of, then go right ahead and let go, if not, use both arms, i don't want you falling off"

 "No, it's ok, I get it, your anxious, it's alright, don't worry, I think y'all are going to get along well"

 I was riding on the back of Leo's motorcycle, and I have to say it's pretty relaxing, nice, I never expected riding a motorcycle would be this...fun, we were still on earth, luckily, it was pretty cold and getting dark but we were headed somewhere I didn't really know to meet my partner and I don't know, discuss the situation with me joining? I guess

 We pull in a parking lot to a ....pub? Getting off and taking my helmet off, I smell the mix of food and alcohol from here, I wonder why Leo's taking me here, I'm just glad I don't have to meet his nieces, to make matters worse I already have to make a good first impression for my partner, no need for them to be here
