"Yes, I am Kim Taehyung, CEO of Kim's Group of Industries."

As soon as the words left Taehyung's mouth, Jeongguk's expression became unreadable. He did not know what to feel. He was more than shocked and gulped in fear. He was still processing the information he received like a bomb.

Finally, he cleared his throat still unable to say anything, after a lot of struggle he spoke, "So y-you are the CEO. I m-mean, the CEO of Kim - -" his stuttering got cut by Taehyung.

"Yes, I am the CEO and the owner of The Kim's," he said while smirking at the flustered look of Jeongguk while gesturing to the girl to leave.

"So, you were saying something, right?" Taehyung asked.

"Oh, yeah I was saying that I am sorry for my behavior in the morning and earlier," Jeongguk apologized while rubbing his nape.

Taehyung just smirked, he was the Kim Taehyung after all. "Sorry? Why should I forgive you? You were sassy, weren't you? Now, you are acting like an innocent one as if you didn't do anything?!" Taehyung raised his brow.

Jeongguk bit his bottom lip out of nervousness and shame. "That's why I'm saying sorry, I really did not know that you were Kim Taehyung because you look too young to be a CEO. I'm really sorry," he apologized while pouting.

"Aww, looks like a wild bunny turned into a soft one, huh?" Taehyung sarcastically commented as Jeongguk just hung his head low.

"Apology - -" Taehyung stopped for a moment. Jeongguk's doe eyes shined in hope, he thought Taehyung would forgive him. He stared at Taehyung's dark brown orbs with hopeful eyes.

'Please forgive me, please.' Jeongguk thought.

"- - not accepted." Taehyung smirked making Jeongguk froze in his place because of what he heard.

"B-but, I'm really sorry for what happened, that was an accident, please, forgive me. I am even ready to pay for your loss, please," Jeongguk said almost begging.

"No, I won't forgive you," Taehyung declared, making Jeongguk sigh as his hands became cold. He was sure Taehyung would not hire him.

"Okay, I'm going to leave. I am sorry again," Jeongguk said. He turned around and was about to leave the office, when -

"Where are you going? You're here to apply for the job, right?" Taehyung asked.

"I know you won't hire me anymore, you are mad at me, you can hire someone better than me. I have to go," Jeongguk sadly stated, his pout never leaving his lips.

"Who said I won't hire you, hmm?" Taehyung asked. Jeongguk's face lit up, his iconic bunny smile displaying on his lips. He turned around and looked at Taehyung.

"R-really? A-are you going to hire me?" He asked happily

"No - -" Taehyung paused.

"Fine," Jeongguk said with a sad smile.

"I mean, not before taking your interview, just because you are being sweet and apologizing doesn't mean I will hire you without checking your capabilities," Taehyung said in his usual monotone voice. "Now, take your seat."

After taking the interview and checking all the certificates, Taehyung finally spoke, "You are capable and talented for this job, I can see that you are perfect. You are hired, Mr. Jeon."

"W-what?! Really? You won't regret hiring me, Mr. Kim, I promise you that. Thank you for giving me a chance," Jeongguk said and smiled at him.

"Okay, okay. You don't need to be so happy, I didn't hire you because I forgive you. You are just the right one, that's it. And yeah, you better stick to your words, or else it won't take me seconds to fire you. Got it?" Taehyung warned him. And the brunette just nodded.
