Anxiousness filled his body as Daeyun was, impatiently, waiting for his business partner's confirmation call. "What's taking them so long to call? I sent those papers and truck long ago!" He sighed in frustration, beside him were Taeshi and Taehyung trying their best to calm the older man down.

On the other hand, Sanghyun was looking somewhat nervous and tense, but he decided not to let it get to him. Daeyun, at last, could not take any longer as he picked up his phone to ask them what happened.

But, soon, his heart dropped as they confirmed none of them had received any papers or a truck of the consignment. Hearing such news, the phone fell from the CEO's hand catching the attention of others present there.

"Dad, what happened? What did they say?" Taehyung asked, extremely worried, but the older man was too shocked to answer anything.

Seeing her husband's numb and shocked face, Taeshi could feel that something happened that should not have. She worriedly asked, "Yeobo, everything is fine, right? Nothing happened, right?"

Daeyun looked at them and said shakily, "They are saying that the truck and papers were never sent to them!"

"What the hell! How is this possible?!" The blond yelled. "Are they sure? This is unbelievable!"

"Taehyung, calm down. This is not the time to think about this. Sir needs you now," Sanghyun, who was silent for the entire time, spoke up.

Daeyun's ears perked up hearing his secretary's voice, he composed himself and asked, "Hyun, you were the one who was supposed to deliver the stuff, right? I assigned the work to you."

The said male froze in his place and answered nervously, "Yes, it was me who was supposed t- -"

He was cut off when his boss shouted, "THEN WHY THE HELL DIDN'T THEY RECEIVE THE THINGS! IT WAS 4 DAYS AGO! WHY?!" Taehyung and Taeshi flinched at his outburst.

Daeyun, honestly, did not care about the loss or profit, what he was worried about was his promise to his clients. He was a man of his word. And not being unable to fulfill his words always made him feel like a betrayer. The word itself was despised by Daeyun so much to the point that one could never imagine.

"Hubby, please, calm down. We will figure out what happened, okay? But please, don't lose your calm." The wife grabbed her husband's hand and made him sit on the sofa nearby while rubbing his back soothingly.

"Sir, I don't know what happened. I did everything as you said. I don't know what happened or how it happened," Sanghyun said and put his head in his palms.

"Dad, don't worry. We will get over it, hmm? Don't stress much. Nothing will happen to your promise. Alright?" Taehyung said with an assuring look, making Daeyun look at him and nod.

Just at that moment, Eunwoo happened to enter the room with his camera which contained TaeKook's engagement video. "Tae, your engagement videos are her- -" He stopped mid-sentence sensing the heavy atmosphere of the room.

As the blond looked in Eunwoo's direction, his gaze fell on the camera, and immediately something stuck in his mind making his eyes widen as he spoke up, "Dad! We can check the office's CCTV footage of that day and know what happened!"

Hearing his son, Daeyun immediately agreed and they set off to the office. But, somewhat, Sanghyun was feeling nervous in the pit of his stomach, nevertheless, he followed them behind.

Soon they reached the office to check the CCTV footage. They were in such a hurry that they missed seeing another familiar car in front of the building and the gossip of their employees.
