"Mom, Dad..."

"Yes, dear, Mom and Dad," Daeyun said with a fake smile.

Taehyung laughed comically and said, "Mom, Dad, what are you guys doing here? You guys were supposed to be in a function as chief guests, right?"

"Aww, my bear baby, what is happening here? A function, right? So, we should also be here because this is the function we were talking about. Why? Didn't you pay attention when we were giving the speech, hunie?" Taeshi asked in her most fake sweet voice.

"Well, sweetheart, how would he pay attention when he was busy flirting with his 'special' someone," the older Kim said while quoting with his index fingers in the air.

"No, no, Dad, it's not wh-"

The blond immediately cut himself off when he received his father's death glare and ordered, "To home. With him. Now." Though the words were small, they surely hold great power.

Soon the Kim couple exited the venue. Jungkook, who was silent the entire time, finally opened his mouth, "Tigie, what will happen now? Are they gonna be mad at me? Will they disown you for being with me? Oh my God, save me!"

The male was on the verge of having panic attacks already, luckily the blond stopped him while saying to relax and soon dragged the blue-haired male out of the venue, following his parents.

Soon they reached the Kim Mansion, Jungkook's mouth was agape and his eyes widened seeing the big mansion. That was when he realized Taehyung and his family were indeed very rich and he was sure that Mr. and Mrs. would never accept an orphan like him as their son's life partner. Just the thought of their and his lifestyle and status made him feel so small that lowered his head in shame.

As they reached the living room, Daeyun went towards their room and gestured for Taeshi to bring Jungkook into their room which the lady complied. The younger male gulped in fear and looked at his lover for help.

But before the blond could do or say anything, Taeshi already left with a scared Jungkook along with her while Taehyung tagged them behind.

"Mom, first calm down and then do whatever you want. Mom, mom--" the blond was running behind his mom and yelling. Just when he was about to enter the room, the mother took the blue-haired male inside and practically slammed the door in the blond's face.

Inside the room, Jungkook just stood there feeling very nervous that he was shaken to his core, as the Kim couple observed him. Daeyun was about to say something, but his wife stopped him by showing her hand and she went towards the door.

"Kim Taehyung, I know you are eavesdropping! I would suggest you get the fuck away from here before you regret anything!" Taeshi warned, and Taehyung, who was actually trying to listen to what they were talking about, groaned and went away, as he knew his mom would not spare him.

It was quite long and Taehyung was pacing to and fro, thinking about what might be happening behind that closed door. Soon the door opened and Daeyun gestured for his son to come inside, who without any second thought entered the room.

As the blond entered the room, he could sense the heavy atmosphere in there. Taeshi and Daeyun were sitting with stern and disappointed looks while Jungkook's head was down. The blond felt a chill run down his body.

The blue-haired male slowly raised his face with a sad look and shook his head in denial, indicating his parents did not accept Jungkook. Taehyung quickly turned to his parents and looked at them with disbelief.

"Mom, Dad, you guys didn't- why you- Mom, Dad, please, accept him. He is now the love of my life, you can't do this to me. Please, Mom." Taehyung pleaded to his parents while kneeling in front of them, but they showed no emotions.
