After the confession, there was nothing but silence. But suddenly, loud laughs were heard, which made Jeongguk immediately open his eyes, only to see that the ravenette was laughing madly, clutching his stomach. He was laughing so hard that tears started to form in his eyes. Jeongguk was confused as to why the older was laughing like that. The brunette was getting irritated, come on, he just confessed his true feelings to the older and the other was laughing without any care in the world.

"Why are you laughing?" Jeongguk asked.

Taehyung finally stopped laughing and answered, "Why wouldn't I laugh though? I mean, are you even listening to your own words?" And that was when Jeongguk felt his soul leave his body and his eyes widened in shock.

"How the hell did you think that me, Kim Taehyung, CEO of one of the biggest companies, would accept someone like you, a mere secretary? Gosh! People like you really need to come out of their weird fantasies!" Taehyung exclaimed in a disgusted tone.

The younger felt his voice get stuck in his throat as tears started to form in his eyes, blinding his view. "Y-you are l-lying, right?" He uttered with a cracked voice.

"And what in the lines makes you think that I am lying? Like come on, just because I cared a little for you, doesn't mean I like you or something. Get out of your delusional mind. And keep in your mind that Jeon Taehyung doesn't like some gold-digging bitch like you!" Taehyung gritted his teeth while poking his index finger beside the brunette's forehead, whose tears were flowing non-stop.

"What? Now you are crying and acting like an innocent, huh? See, I know people like you very well, who just seduce rich men like me and try to just get in our pants and whose eyes are always on our money. I thought you were a nice person, but no, you also came out as a cunning, gold-digging whor- -"

Taehyung's words got cut by a tight slap on his left cheek. The sound of the slap echoed in the room making it completely silent right after. The CEO held his cheek and looked in the front, only to see Jeongguk shaking with rage and tears in his eyes. Seeing that, Taehyung's heart broke into pieces, but he still did not show any emotion and composed himself.

"What? Couldn't hear your tru--"

And again Taehyung got cut by the other, "SHUT UP! Just. Shut. Up!"

Jeongguk closed his eyes and took a deep breath before speaking again, "If you didn't like me, you could have just rejected me. You didn't have to speak nonsense rubbish about me. You know, even I thought you were a nice person, but no, you are the biggest dickhead I have ever seen. I hate you! I am a fool to love a heartless person like you. I just so fucking hate you!" Jeongguk yelled and ran out of the cabin. But during all these, he failed to notice how much courage the older mustered to say all those heartbreaking things to his love.

While running out of the building, both Jimin and Yoongi noticed the younger having tears in his eyes. Thus, without any delay, Yoongi went to Taehyung's cabin and Jimin tried to stop Jeongguk, but the brunette was already out of the building. Yoongi barged into the cabin, only to meet with a Taehyung who was in a complete daze, standing in the middle of the room, with a blank face.

"Taehyung, what happened here? Why did Tae run out like that? Will you please say something?!" Yoongi raised his voice in the last question.

"Whatever was supposed to happen, that only happened. I showed him the right place." Taehyung answered, still void of any emotion.

"What the fucking are you speaking about? Don't tell me you broke his heart!" Yoongi uttered with fear and Taehyung nodded, telling him everything.

Yoongi was beyond angry, how could Taehyung break a precious soul's heart? He thought maybe after that day's talk, Taehyung would change but how wrong he was. "You know what, you are actually a dickhead. I don't know why I am even talking with you. You are not the Taehyung I knew!" Yoongi stated in anger.
