After finishing his morning duties, Jeongguk came out in one of Taehyung's shirts as he did not have one. He looked so small in it, that the ravenette could not help but cooed at him and the younger just blushed.

Soon they headed to the dining area for breakfast. On their way, the brunette noticed that he never saw any picture or anything of Taehyung's family whenever he came here. So out of curiosity, he asked, "Sir, why don't you have any pic of your family or parents?" As soon as Taehyung heard this, he stopped in his tracks and had an unreadable expression on his face.

Jeongguk feared that he might have asked the wrong question, so he quickly tried to apologize, "I am sorry if I ha--"

"They are no more." Taehyung cut him with a blank face.

Jeongguk frowned and asked, "Huh? What?"

"My family is no more," Taehyung repeated, still with no emotion on his face. Jeongguk felt bad for the ravenette, he mentally cursed himself for asking a sensitive matter. He then said sorry and Taehyung just nodded while saying that it was okay and that he was used to it. Hearing that, Jeongguk right then and there swore to himself that no matter what he would fill up the older's life with love and happiness.

Soon they reached the dining table and started to have their breakfast while taking their seats. In between eating, Taehyung received a call from the office and he said that would be there soon.

"Who was that?" Jeongguk asked, referring to the phone call.

"It was Mina, she said that Namjoon and Yoongi Hyungs are waiting for me in the office," Taehyung replied.

As soon as Jeongguk heard the word 'office', he stopped eating and fear started to build in his body, as the horrifying memories of last night started to play in his mind. He started to tremble in fear, as his breathing was again becoming uneven.

Taehyung seemed to notice the brunette's condition, so he immediately got up from his seat and went to Jeongguk to relax him.

"Hey, look at me. Relax, hmm? Take a deep breath, in and out, okay? Like this, inhale and exhale." Taehyung said and showed him. Jeongguk copied the older and slowly calmed down.

"He will be there. What will I do?" Jeongguk said while panicking. Taehyung cupped his face and assured him, "He will not be there, he is behind the bars. And also you are not coming to the office today." The brunette did not argue much as he also needed some time to overcome the incident, so he just nodded.

After finishing breakfast, both the males started their journey. Soon, Taehyung reached Jeongguk's house and dropped him off. And then he went directly to his office.

Upon reaching home, Jeongguk found it unusually silent compared to normal days. He called out for Sunmi, but no answer. Then he went towards her room only to hear small sobs. Hearing the sobs, Jeongguk got triggered and immediately burst open her room's door, and the sight he saw made him cry.

Sunmi was sitting on the floor, burying her face in her knees, crying her heart out. Due to the door's opening sound, she looked up and Jeongguk could see that her eyes were puffy and red. Tear stains decorated her cheeks; without any delay, the brother went to the female and hugged her.

"Noona, what happened? Why are you crying? Did someone say anything to you?" Jeongguk bombarded her with questions. But, Sunmi just cried harder. Jeongguk did not know what was happening, but he did what he felt was right, and went on shushing her, "Calm down, Noona. Take a deep breath." The younger was trying his best to calm his sister who followed him and soon relaxed.

"Now, tell me what happened?" Jeongguk asked, but in an authoritative tone. As you know, both the Jeon siblings were very protective of each other. Thus, whenever they would see one of them was hurt or sad, the other would automatically get triggered.
