Jeongguk reached his home with lots of thoughts like - 'How would he complete these tasks? Would he be able to gain his boss' trust or not?'

But, he decided to put those thoughts aside and focus on his goal for the next day. He soon went to his room and freshened up. He was determined that no matter what he would prove himself through the last chance, he would not let his boss down. Thus, he decided to make the project presentation. First, he had some issues with putting things correctly and with more profitable things.

However, he did not give up. After working almost up to 1 am or so, he finally finished his presentation. Then, he properly checked the presentation one last time and carefully put that in the right way so that he does not mix up the files like last time. Lastly, he checked the file that was given to him and prepared his schedule of which work would be after which, he checked that tomorrow he had 3-4 fieldwork. After checking and organizing all things, he finally went to sleep.

He suddenly gained a little consciousness, he was about to blackout again but with all his strength remaining, he managed to get up. His lower body was throbbing with great pain, but he did not care much. Somehow, he gathered the blanket that was resting on the sofa and covered himself. He struggled with his aching body and reached a blond male who was badly injured. He started to wake the male, "Tigie, please, wake up. Tigie! At least. . . you d-don't give up on m-me. Tigie, a-ahhh. . . Please, Tigie, open your eyes." The blue-haired male was writhing in pain yet continued his attempt of waking the other male.

"Tigie, please."

"Please."

"TIGIE!"

And again Jeongguk woke up being all sweaty and having breathing problems. He was really terrified after that dream or better to say the nightmare. It was almost 6 in the morning, so he decided to get ready for the office as he had so many things to do. He went to take a bath while taking shower. He only thought about his nightmare.

But, later he shrugged off and thought that maybe he was stressed that was why he had all these stupid nightmares. Soon, he came out and dressed in his home clothes as there was still a lot of time left. Thus, he went downstairs only to see it empty as Sunmi was still asleep. Then, he came up with the thought that he would make breakfast. He made bacon, egg rolls, and pancakes.

Soon, Sunmi woke and came to prepare breakfast but after seeing Jeongguk already putting the food on the tables, she was surprised. "Hmmm, not bad. I see," Sunmi commented.

"Oh, Noona. You are up. Come on, let's have breakfast," Jeongguk said. After having their breakfast, Jeongguk went to his room and dressed in his office clothes, and checked the time, it was 7.30. He still had enough time to reach the office so without wasting more time, he called for a cab and hopped in, and started his journey.

Jeongguk reached his office quite early much to Taehyung's liking. He went straight to Taehyung's cabin and knocked, after hearing a 'come in' he went inside.

"Good morning, Sir," Jeongguk greeted him.

"Hmm, you are quite early today," Taehyung said in a mocking tone.

"Sir, here is your schedule for today. And the new presentation," Jeongguk said ignoring the other's remark, and handed him the schedule along with the presentation.

"Sir, I am going to my desk now. If you need anything, please, just call me." With that, Jeongguk was about to leave the cabin but Taehyung's voice made him stop.

"Keep in mind that today might be your last day at the office, so work like that," the ravenette warned.

"You don't have to remind me again and again. I know that properly," Jeongguk low-key snickered and left.
