After lunchtime, Jeongguk was again with Jimin, they were talking-- a lot more like Jeongguk complaining about how cruel Taehyung was for giving him too many files to prepare within 30 minutes and of course about his cold behavior.

"I hope he won't be so stubborn and mean to you." Jimin patted his back.

"But he already is." Jeongguk sighed.

"Because you are dumb too to fight with him and end up having extra tasks," Jimin mumbled to himself, blaming Jeongguk which went unheard by the other.

"Anyways, I have to go now, I'm busy too. My meow meow- I mean, boss must be waiting. See you again." Jimin left while smiling sheepishly and waving his hand.

"Bye. . ." Jeongguk sighed and went back to his work. He was on his desk, sitting and doing his task when Taehyung called him on the intercom.

"Mr. Jeon, bring me the files I gave you to work on. Fast!" Taehyung ordered from the other line.

Jeongguk cut the call and stood up, he knocked and then went inside when permitted. "Here are the files, Sir." He gave the files to the older male.

Taehyung took the file with a poker face and read it. But soon his eyebrows rose when he saw something wrong in a file. "What the hell, Mr. Jeon, did you do your work properly? Where are the details about my company expenses?" Taehyung yelled.

"Uh-uhm. . . I forgot about that, Sir," Jeongguk said while lowering his head and biting his lips.

"Bullshit! You should do your work properly. I need to know how much money I lost and we're fucking talking about money, M.O.N.E.Y! You get that!" Taehyung growled while slamming his desk and stood up.

"I-i can t-tr- -"

Jeongguk's stuttering got cut by Taehyung's yelling, "Stupid! Just go and give me a copy of the file about the project!"

"O-okay, I-I'm sorry again." Jeongguk hastily apologized and left the cabin, wiping his teary eyes. No matter how strong Jeongguk appeared, he was a big softie and a baby inside. And he got scolded and yelled by the ravenette more than once on his first day itself. Thus, it was quite natural for him to get emotional.

Taehyung did not know why but he felt a pang in his heart when he saw Jeongguk's teary eyes. His doe eyes filled with tears reminded him of something he was scared of. He shook his head to get rid of his thoughts and sighed while sitting back.

Jeongguk photocopied the file, he bit his bottom lip to prevent himself from crying. "Are you okay, Gguk?" A lady asked.

"Y-yes, Mrs. Lee, I-I just remember the drama I watched yesterday." The brunette smiled bitterly.

"Aish! Gguk, he yelled at you, right?" Mrs. Lee asked.

Jeongguk nodded and a tear escaped from his eyes. Mrs. Lee cupped his cheeks and smiled at him softly. "Jeonggukie, don't mind that, he is just a jerk. Don't worry, I will help you," Mrs. Lee said and smiled.

"R-really?" The younger asked and pouted.

"Yes. Now give that to him before he gets mad again." Mrs. Lee chuckled while taking the files and soon they were done.

"Thank you so much, Mrs. Lee!" Jeongguk thanked her and took the files to his boss.

"Here are the files, Sir," Jeongguk gave the files and earned an okay, as a reply.

"What's next in my schedule today?" Taehyung inquired.

To which, "You have a meeting with Mr. Hong within the next hour," Jeongguk informed.
