It has been two days since Yugyeom's murder, but still Taehyung could not stop thinking about the last words Yugyeom said. He had been lately very stressed and that statement made him even more confused. The words kept on ringing in his head.

"Neither he nor his son is my boss. My boss is someone whom you know very well yet don't know at all."

"If it is not Choi nor his son then who it might be? Who is the one whom I know but don't know at the same time? Argh! God, I already have so many problems, so why did you have to add another?!" Taehyung whispered-yelled and gripped his hair in frustration. He, unknowingly, slammed his fist on the cabin's table, due to which a glass that was near, fell on the floor with a huge noise.

And that was when he snapped back to reality and cursed out, "Fuck!" The ravenette hurriedly tried to pick up the broken pieces and just then the cabin door opened, revealing his secretary. Taehyung gave his attention to the person who entered while accidentally a piece of glass pierced his palm and soon it started to bleed.

Jeongguk, at first, was kind of shocked as to why Taehyung was on the floor but when he saw the blood he became alert and immediately went to Taehyung leaving, more like throwing all his stuff on the table. He quickly made the older stand-up and sit on the couch nearby. The brunette ran to the washroom to get the first-aid kit. He tried to pull out the glass piece carefully to which Taehyung hissed out. He finally was successful in pulling the piece out and soon blood was dripping more.

The brunette then started to clean the wound with ointment. "Were you out of mind? How did you think of cleaning the mess with bare hands?" Jeongguk scolded.

"Why do you even care?" Taehyung remarked and the younger just stayed silent and kept on cleaning.

'Stupid tigie, idiot tigie, asks me why I care. Doesn't he understand that seeing him in pain hurts and pains me more? God, why did I have to fall in love with this idiot?' The younger cursed the older in his thought and continued cleaning.

While cleaning, Taehyung could not help but take a few glances at the younger and thought, 'Please, don't care about me this much and stop being kind towards me, or else I won't be able to keep myself away from you. Please, you will get nothing but pain from me.'

However, his thoughts got cut when he heard small sniffles from the other and he widened his eyes in shock. "Are you crying?" Taehyung asked, still shocked. But the other just shook his head in disagreement. By then, the secretary was done with bandaging the wound as he hurriedly got up and ran to the washroom to put first-aid back.

Though Jeongguk said otherwise, the ravenette was not dumb to see the truth. "See, I again hurt you. Please, don't cry for a person like me, you will be left with nothing but ashes," Taehyung said to himself while looking in the direction of the washroom.

Soon, Jeongguk came after cleaning his face and sat at his table to work. However, both the males were far from working, they both were in their own thoughts; where one was thinking about how to make the other fall for him and confess to him, while the other was thinking about how to find the main culprit and stay away from the younger, with that, again both of them sighed for the nth time.

Jeongguk seemed to notice the lack of concentration of his boss on work. He observed his boss; he noticed dark circles under his eyes, from time to time he was rubbing his forehead, which clearly showed that the latter might not have had any proper sleep, and thus, was suffering from a headache. Therefore, he decided to talk with him and make him rest or else it would increase his headache more. But also Jeongguk knew that the older would not listen to him and so he decided to use some other trick.

"Uhmm... Sir, today we literally don't have anything to do. So do you wanna go out? To hang out? Please?" Jeongguk requested.

"Mr. Jeon, we are here for work not for hanging out, it doesn't matter if we have work or not," Taehyung replied strictly. But the brunette was not having it. So, he tried again.
