Jeongguk got rid of the dream and freshened up, soon he took his breakfast and went off to his office. Upon entering their cabin, he noticed that Taehyung still had not arrived at the office. By not seeing the older, unknowingly Jeongguk's smile faded. He was kind of disheartened but it was the ravenette's office; he could come whenever he wanted. An hour passed, and Taehyung still did not come. "Is he sick or something?" The brunette mumbled to himself.

Just then the door knob started turning, making Jeongguk's eyes lighten up in the hope of seeing Taehyung entering the office. But to his disappointment, it was Yoongi. "Why am I even getting sad? I should be happy I don't have to see his face nor stay here till late at night!" He scolded his sulking self.

"Mr. Jeon, I would like to inform you that Mr. Kim won't be coming today, as he had to go out of town for some emergency. So, I- -" Yoongi got cut by Jeongguk.

"Emergency! What emergency?! Is he okay? Did something happen to him?!" The brunette panicked.

"Business emergency," Yoongi said and the other stopped panicking and made his lips to an 'o' shape. "So, on behalf of him, today I will attend all the meetings and stuff. Thus, kindly, inform me, what's on the schedule today," Yoongi informed.

"Okay, just give me a moment," Jeongguk said and checked the schedule. "Today there is nothing much, just some files works and a meeting with Mr. Choi Jaehyun of Choi Industries. That's all!" He informed.

"Okay, when is the meeting? And when will they arrive?" Yoongi asked.

"It will occur after lunch, so they will arrive somewhere after lunch," Jeongguk answered.

Yoongi hummed before answering, "Okay, then just remind me 30 minutes before the meeting." The younger one just nodded. Yoongi left for his cabin and soon Jeongguk was all alone.

For Jeongguk, time was not passing away quickly, every item inside the cabin reminded him of Taehyung, he felt exhausted and drained of energy. He was recalling the times when the ravenette would tease him for staring at him or he would be messing around with the other being all sassy. He was really missing the older male. The bunny boy then realized that the ravenette became an important part of his daily life. Without messing up with him, his day was incomplete. Everything that day was a mess for Jeongguk, he could not help but every time his mind wandered off to think about a certain name.

Taehyung.

He does not know why he was thinking so much about his boss but he could not just help it. Therefore, he just sighed for the nth time out of irritation and confusion.

Time Skip to Lunch

"Yo, Ggukie! What's up with the long face?" Jimin questioned his friend, as he saw him playing with his food and sulking.

Jeongguk let out a huge sigh. Stirring his bowl of soup, he mumbled, "Mr. Kim didn't come today so I was wondering if he's fine or not."

Jimin left out an airy chuckle. "Why are you getting these thoughts? It's not like you care," Jimin stated. But the brunette seemed to get pissed off by Jimin's words.

"What do you mean by I don't care? Of course, I care about him. After all, I l- -" Jeongguk cut his statement when he realized what he was about to say.

On the other hand, Jimin was internally smirking at his friend. Then he recollected himself and asked, "After all what, Gguk?"

"I mean, after all, he is my boss, so I do care about him," the other replied.

"Gguk, dude! Calm down. And besides, you are not the only one to be his employee, see everyone present here is his employee and even me. But, can you see any other person who is worrying except you? No! That's why I said chill, darling. You are neither his boyfriend nor do you like him. So cheer up! Let's grab a drink after work! Hmm?" Jimin asked and patted his back before leaving the place. Jeongguk nodded silently but Jimin's words continued ringing in his ears. What if he actually fell for his boss?
