A man, wearing a brown hat, with medium length brown hair, and a brown face mask that only covered his nose and mouth; it stretched to the back of his neck. He had on a long brown cover-like hoodie that covered his arms and his chest along with his shirt; also having brown sweat pants on and glowing red eyes, his name was Echo.
Echo approached a desert, white sands national park in New Mexico, it was sunny outside, being seventy-two degrees Fahrenheit. With the sky being blue and a few clouds just ahead, the clouds supplemented the blue sky and the white sand before him. He stood in place looking into the distance, seeing nothing but the sky and the white sand; he began walking after a few minutes which he seemed to be contemplating.
There was no sound in the distance, just him, alone with his thoughts, he had been walking for an hour, the same image of the blue slightly clouded sky and the white sand, he didn't grow tired of this view. The clouds moving ahead showcase the planet spinning on its axis rotating the sun. In the directions without the sun it was like he was walking under the ocean, it was spellbinding.
He stumbled across a bar and from the outside he heard glass breaking. When he walked inside there was a group of grown men surrounding a young boy, he was fifteen, the bar smelt like drunk breath and sweat, and it was far from pleasing.
"I won't ask again brat, where is our payment?" One of the men asked, holding a glass bottle with a broken bottom. It was sharp, the type that'll kill you with one stab to the neck. The boy was on the ground scared because he got shoved there, he was defenseless.
"I don't have it, please I'll pay you tomorrow," the child cried out, but the group of men laughed and then angered, he raised his hand forming a fist and attempted to swing, but after a few seconds, he noticed his arm was stuck in place, unable to finish the punch he was going to give the child to the face.
The child balled up after he raised his hands and covered his face, after a bit of nothing was happening he opened his eyes slowly to a man standing at the entrance of the bar and one of the men unable to hurt him.
The man standing in front of him got lifted into the air and he got flung into the wall breaking through it, the others looked at one of their guys get tossed around and made them angry, Echo negated their strength and suddenly they could barely lift some bottles they were going to use for attacking him. Then one of them tried to throw a punch but it was very flawed.
Echo then stopped all his attacks which consisted of a few punches and a kick, after stopping his kick Echo erased him from reality, two more men ran over to Echo and he removed their bone structures throughout their entire body causing them to become a blob of flesh and he erased them from reality.
Three more men came running over then Echo negated the logic behind their attacks rendering them ineffective, Echo then erased those individuals from existence with his hand. The last man got frightened and started to run away but Echo looked at him then he dropped dead, he walked over to the kid who was hiding under the table watching it all take place.
He had a backpack and within that backpack, he had a bottle of water that was full, a few plastic bags of food, a ham sandwich, a turkey sandwich, two bags of chips, some sliced apples, a map and compass, and a tent he used for camping out in the white sands.
"Are you alright?" Echo asked, looking at the kid who slowly raised from behind the counter.
"Yes... are you going to hurt me as well?" The kid asked, he was shaking and had a shaky yet scared voice.
"No," he said simply.
"Can you carry your bag? You're coming with me," Echo said, which made the kid happy and a slight smile escaped his face. He never had anyone to take care of him for a long time because his parents died when he was nine. Since Echo was there to protect him he grew rather fond of him, along with his powers.
