Darkness: Land of Nightmares

Athena was standing in front of Mysore palace, she was there because she was meeting with Anushka. Athena waited for an hour but the woman she was meeting never showed up, so she figured she was too busy to show, before Athena was about to leave she heard footsteps walking up behind her, she turned around to see Genevieve.

Genevieve was wearing blue pants, no socks or shoes, with a white t-shirt and messy hair. Genevieve knew that if she failed to put down Athena then she'd disappoint Nyx and have Jude Tempest come after them both, but she wasn't a murderer and never wanted to take a life, even things such as bugs or pests.

"You're not Anushka, obviously," Athena said.

"What gave it away?" Genevieve asked.

"I doubt someone as important as she is would look like she's an escaped convict that also wrestled six tigers simultaneously," Athena said.

"Three plus three equals not the person I intended on seeing," Athena added.

"Sorry to disappoint, but for better or for worse you wouldn't be alive much longer to worry," Genevieve said, stopping in place.

"Definitely for worse, and if you plan on killing someone it's best to not give a heads up," Athena said.

"Can't turn a blind eye, I hope you can understand what I'm about to do," Athena said.

"I do, but I don't have a choice here," Genevieve said.

"Yes you do, everyone has a choice, if you don't want to do something, then you can choose not to," Athena said.

"It's not black and white, there's a lot more at stake than you care to acknowledge," Genevieve said.

"What do you mean? Who put you up to this?" Athena questioned, Genevieve remained silent, then got in a fighting position.

Athena then charged at Genevieve quickly, and slammed her to the ground, she got up quickly, as she got up Athena punched her with a right hook, then a left, then a kick to the spine, and once she threw an elbow directed towards her face Genevieve caught it with her palm, Genevieve then threw a right hook at Athena's face.

She stumbled back just one step, Genevieve then threw a series of jabs at Athena's stomach then one to her face, Genevieve then threw a left hook but Athena moved her head back a bit successfully dodging it. Genevieve then threw a right hook again but Athena blocked it with her right arm, then pushed her back a bit.

Athena then jumped in the air for a roundhouse kick but Genevieve blocked it with her right arm and then threw her arm up in the air causing Athena to be thrown back several inches, she spun and landed on her two feet upon getting thrown away.

"You are pretty well trained, I'll give you that," Athena said.

"Yeah, I'm a bit maladroit, been lamented for a year, and haven't been in a fight for a long time," Genevieve said.

"Even then, you're not one that should be taken lightly," Athena said.

She then ran up to Genevieve with super speed, she started with a kick, Genevieve put her hand on Athena's leg and pushed it away, Athena then landed on the ground, then turned around while keeping momentum for a punch, Genevieve moved her head back slightly to dodge it, Genevieve then threw a punch towards Athena's face, but she ducked, then elbowed Genevieve in the stomach then threw a punch at her face, then she stood up and threw a strong right hook at Genevieve's face, knocking her to the ground, Athena then ran up and hovered her foot over Genevieve's throat.

"What? put me out of my misery," Genevieve said, Athena then removed her foot, Genevieve just laid there.

"Hate to burst your bubble but I'm not gonna kill you, whatever you're afraid of I can protect you," Athena said.
