May 14, 1852 Browns Valley, California
It was sunny outside with clear blue skies and the rich smell of the bonny day. They stayed out in the wastelands with no other houses in sight. Just tan dirty with a few trees, they lived on Marysville Rd, Browns Valley, CA.
Celine and Cassandra wore full blown crinoline fashion plates that were all white, they both had braided buns in. Cassandra walked to a nearby city and began to adopt water filtration processes for city drinking water. She had to strain water through sand and gravel to remove sediment and carried the buckets of water back to her house.
May 2nd was when the first American experimental steam fire engine was tested, and the Phi Mu fraternity was established at Wesleyan College.
She walked along the dirt path avoiding getting her white crinoline dirty, in the heat of the bonny day. She stumbled upon a farm on her way back, a man was manning the cows, milking them.
The man wore long pants that were kept in braces overall made of denim, his shirt was a button up long sleeve worn underneath his pants, at last he wore a straw hat. Cassandra walked up to the farm house and sat the buckets of water down next to the farm house and stood in the entrance way for a bit.
"Well if it isn't bloody Jesse," Cassandra said as she stood in the entrance looking at all the horses, cows, pigs, sheep, and other farm animals. Jessie Ellen pulled from underneath the cow and got up, a smile creeped onto his face when he realized who it was.
"The blue-blood herself, Cassandra," he said with excitement. He looked past her in search of her little sister Celine, but found nothing in the distance, he shifted his attention back to Cassandra.
"Where's that ankle-biter Celine?" He questioned.
"Oh she's at the house with our mom Ruth," she answered.
"Ah, want to help me carry these milk buckets back to my house? Could use the extra strength, I'll comeuppance you," Jesse said. Cassandra looked at the ground quickly as a smile grew onto her cheeks, but quickly faded as she looked back up. She walked over to Jesse and picked up and carried all four milk buckets to his house as he guided her to it, walking along the dirt road.
"I could never understand how you can lift such heavy objects so effortlessly," Jesse said.
"I'm something called a hybrid, they're these things that have superior conditions, but me? I'm superior to the ordinary hybrid. Even leaping across mountains or regenerating from a single sub-atomic particle and back, I can show you if you'd like," Cassandra said.
"I needn't," Jesse said as he didn't believe her, he thought that since she always talked about vampirism it was a coping mechanism to escape reality, for most reading books by their favorite authors or watching their favorite tv show helps them escape the expectations of reality.
"Once in a blue moon opportunity, you sure you want to miss it?" Cassandra asked once more.
"I'm sure, let's continue walking the whole nine yards," Jesse said which was the final thing said before drying up.
They stumbled upon his small house, he walked up the steps and opened the screen door, then the main door. Cassandra followed after him and into the kitchen, she placed the four milk buckets on his kitchen table.
"Appreciate the hand," he said gracefully. He turned around getting prepared to clean the milk.
"Of course, anything else you need help with?" Cassandra asked.
"No, I'm just going to clean this milk then call it a day," Jesse said. Then Cassandra heard Ruth calling out for her name many miles away. She moved with immense speeds out of his house, before Jesse could even realize she had left. He turned around because he just came up with something he needed help with, which was going down to the city and as settlers from the Oregon Trail and California gold rush flooded into the West. But getting mail across the continent took about 3 weeks. He needed Cassandra to go collect his mail that just came in.
