Chapter 20

"What can we be sure of? Ruby Jane and Lisa Manoban are very close," Kai contemplated during his dinner. "Exactly. Those two have a very passionate relationship. It's obvious. This is all Lisa Manoban's fault," Mr. Lee asserted. "If Ruby Jane really liked Lisa Manoban, why couldn't she divorce me?!" Kai said while hitting the table with his fist. 

"Lisa Manoban loved Madam. However, Madam just wanted enjoyment," Mr. Lee explained. "Enjoyment?" Kai asked. "Yes. Wasn't Lisa Manoban completely clueless about her? Madam just used her for enjoyment so she hid everything to her," Mr. Lee explained further. 

"True. If Lisa Manoban knows that Ruby Jane is a rich woman, the situation would be different," Kai concluded. "Yes. We can be sure on that. Lisa Manoban loves Madam who is poor, has no memory, but who's personality has not changed," Mr. Lee stated.

"If I didn't install the shower in her yacht, I wouldn't have brought her home. What should I do with her?" Lisa thought while she took a shower. 

Jennie was in the kitchen. She grabbed a pack of French fries from the fridge. "How will I cook this?" Jennie asked herself while looking at the packaging.

"What else to do? I'll have her return the money with interest," Lisa thought while she applied soap to her body.

"Put enough oil," Jennie read the instruction and poured oil in the pan.

"Use 10x, 100x the work and sweat to return the money. Jennie, just wait. I'll have you taste torture," Lisa talking in front of the mirror feeling determined.

Jennie tossed a handful of fries in the pan. "Hot! Hot!" She said in panic.

"What is that sound?" Lisa asked herself as she stopped drying her hair inside the bathroom.

The pan caught fire. Jennie quickly removed the pan from the stove and threw it in the floor. 

"What's wrong?" Lisa asked as she went out the bathroom and accidentally stepped on the oil scattered on the floor.

"It's hot! It's hot!" Lisa exclaimed which made her jumped repeatedly in one leg while holding her other foot that was hurt. "Jennie!! You really!!" Lisa shouted. "It's really hot!!" Lisa shouted again as she kept on jumping in one leg away from the hot oil in the floor causing the towel wrapped her body to fall down.

Jennie looked at Lisa's body and was shocked on what she saw.  Lisa followed Jennie's eyes and realized she's already naked. She slowly picked up the towel from the floor without breaking her eye contact with Jennie and covered herself. Jennie then looked away.

"I...I didn't do it on purpose," Lisa tried to explained. Jennie looked at her for awhile and pretended not to hear anything. Lisa then proceeded to her room.

"It's so embarrassing! Why did she have to be the one to see it? Did she intentionally do it? I don't care! I don't care! So what if she saw it?" Lisa thought as she covered her face with the pillow to ease her embarrassment.

Jennie was lying on the couch ready to sleep. "There was nothing worth seeing. Nothing special," Jennie said and covered herself with the blanket. But then she quickly uncovered and fanned herself using her hand. "But why is it so hot?" Jennie asked herself.

"Ruby Jane, this is the result of your betrayal. I have no fault so don't blame me," Kai said while looking at the sea. He was startled when suddenly Princess the cat meowed. "Go away! Go away!" Kai told the cat who was sitting beside him. "What? You want to throw Princess too?!" Kai heard Ruby Jane. "Is this a dream? Don't come out! Don't come out!" Kai said.

Kai was so frightened to see Ruby Jane walking in the sea. "Ru..Ruby Jane. This is a dream. Wake up!" He said while slapping his face left and right. "I remember you. I remember you..." Ruby Jane said as she ascended above and when straight to Kai to choke him up.

"I'm going to rip you apart!! Didn't I tell you not to wake me up this way?!!" Jennie was so angry when Lisa carried and put her in the tub full of water. "Isn't it nice to wake up all refreshed in the morning? Thanks to the pesticide, the house is not in acceptable shape. Hurry up and clean," Lisa told her. 

"My hand hurts. I can't do it," Jennie irritatedly said. "If honey is always like this, I have to say things I don't want to say," Lisa stated. "What?! Throw me out?!" Jennie asked angrily. "Honey, you know quite a lot," Lisa said smiling at her and left. Jennie looked at her fuming.

Lisa and Jennie were cleaning the living room. Lisa removed the curtains while Jennie was scrubbing the wall. "Don't leave any traces of pesticide. Scrub it clean!" Lisa ordered.

After that, Lisa collected the dirty clothes and brought the laundry basket in the bathroom. She saw Jennie washing the kitchen utensils. "Don't leave any smell of pesticide. Wash it clean!" Lisa told her.

Jennie was dusting the carpet beating it with a baseball bat while Lisa was repairing the screen in the window. "Don't leave any cockroach shells. Dust it clean!" Lisa told her. Jennie just looked at her and continued doing her work.

"She won't remember. I'll just find her once personally. If she remembers, I'll just pretend to be a regular acquaintance," Kai said while driving toward the village. He stopped at the grocery store to buy some water.

"Excuse me," Kai said. "Hi. First time meeting... Isn't it hot today? Drink this," Joohyun said offering Kai a juice. "Oh no, it's fine," Kai refused. "It's good. Drink this one," Joohyun said and forced Kai to accept it. She grabbed another one for herself and opened it up to drink. Kai just looked at her holding the juice. "It's really hot today. Is it going to snow?" Joohyun asked to start a conversation. Kai was shocked when he heard it.

"Move!" Jennie told Kai who was standing in the doorway. He was surprised to see Ruby Jane which made him drop the juice.

"It's okay, drink it," Joohyun said as she picked up the juice and gave it again to Kai. "Friend, say hi to him. It's a newcomer," Joohyun told Jennie which made the latter look at Kai.

"He...l..l..o," Kai said nervously. "I don't say hi to people I've met for the first time. Do you think I'm like you?" Ruby Jane told Joohyun arrogantly.

"Hey Joohyun!" Yeri arrived which made Joohyun ran fast outside. "What is she running away with this time? Yeri thought.

"Oh, Lisa's fiancee is here," Yeri commented which made Kai looked at Ruby Jane in disbelief.

"Give me a bag of washing machine powder," Jennie said. "Okay, got it" Yeri replied and gave her the powder. "You've been getting so close to Lisa lately. Looks like you guys are very familiar with each other," Yeri told Jennie.

"She doesn't remember me. I don't even have to pretend to be an acquaintance," Kai thought as he was looking at Ruby Jane and the store owner talking. He then decided to go out the store.

"Wait!" Jennie called him out which made him stopped. She went to him and suddenly grabbed the juice he was holding. "Why don't you pay before leaving?!" Ruby Jane asked him.

"Actually...I don't," Kai responded. "Yeri take his money. Why didn't you let me go, yet you're letting him to get away? Collect money!" Ruby Jane irritatedly said and returned the juice to Kai with force.

"Oh yeah, you need to pay for that," Yeri said.
