Lisa and Jennie were at the beach sitting on the sand. Jennie was resting her head in Lisa's right shoulder while they're holding each others hand.
"It's warm. Isn't it strange? It's almost winter but it feels like spring. Being like this, it seems like winter won't come," Jennie softly said with eyes closed.
"You can't fall asleep here. Get up," Lisa said as she glanced at Jennie.
"Why? I like it here," Jennie said in low voice which made Lisa to look at her worriedly.
"This isn't your place. Get up," Lisa suggested and Jennie opened her eyes.
"You...got your memory back," Lisa stated and Jennie looked at her sadly.
"Yes. I have to go back now," Jennie said as she closed her eyes again and tears were falling in her eyes.
Ruby Jane was lying in her bed and woke up from her dream. She looked around and saw Kai's back who was standing in the balcony. Kai turned his head and saw Ruby Jane already awake.
"Ruby Jane," Kai softly uttered and went near her. "Are you okay? You've come back to your senses?" Kai asked as he knelt in front of her to level with her. "I'm fine, Kai," Ruby Jane replied.
"Do you remember me? Do you know who you are?" Kai curiously asked. "I'm...Ruby Jane Kim. I've returned," Ruby Jane answered.
"You're back?" Kai gladly asked. "Your memory's all back?" He added.
"Yes. I remember everything," Ruby Jane said weakly while looking straight at the ceiling.
Lisa saw Jennie and Kai through the glass wall. She then decided to leave the villa.
Lisa walked out of the villa with shoulders down and eyes on the ground. Somi, who was standing outside, saw a sad Lisa passed her by.
"Lisa," she called which stopped Lisa. "That woman's gone back to her rightful place. Lisa you too, go back to your rightful place," Somi said. Lisa then continued walking slowly without even looking at Somi.
Ruby Jane changed her clothes and was looking at their wedding picture in the living room. Kai went to her.
"Are you really okay? You should go to the hospital..." Kai suggested but was cut off.
"You changed rooms," Ruby Jane stated still looking at the picture. "When you died...no. When I thought you died, it was hard to stay in that room," Kai made an alibi. "But all of your things are there as before," he added when Ruby Jane kept silent.
"They really are as I left them," Ruby Jane said still not looking at Kai. "Yes, everything's all there. I was just waiting for you to return," Kai said who was standing behind her.
Ruby Jane turned her head as she faced Kai. Kai felt anxious from the way she looked at him.
"Remember how I asked you to remember that I went back for what was precious to me? Do you remember?" Kai tried to impress her. Ruby Jane was silent while looking intently at him.
Mr. Lee went inside the villa hurriedly. He ran fast to Kai's direction.
"Sir, Lisa Manoban..." Mr. Lee did not continue when he saw Ruby Jane.
"It's Mr. Lee," Ruby Jane said which made Mr. Lee shock.
"Leave me, my head hurts. I want to be alone," Ruby Jane demanded. "Okay, rest well Ruby Jane," Kai responded and left with Mr. Lee who was still shocked.
Kai and Mr. Lee went out of the villa.
"What? Her memory has returned and Lisa Manoban has already come and gone? Then she'll know that you tried to abandon her," Mr. Lee stated. "Ruby Jane doesn't know," Kai replied. "Lisa Manoban knows all about not being able to find the boat or the phone. If she sees Lisa Manoban, isn't it all over?" Mr. Lee inquired. "I'm done talking with Lisa Manoban," Kai confidently said and recalled when he talked with Lisa while Ruby Jane was sleeping.
"I know I'm someone who should die. I also know I won't be able to receive forgiveness. But...I really regret things now. I want to return everything to how it was," Kai seriously said. "If you want to return as before, start by being honest," Lisa replied not looking at Kai.
"It's because you don't know the real Ruby Jane. The woman who stayed with you wasn't the real Ruby Jane. She's such a frightening woman," Kai reasoned out. Lisa then looked at him.
"If she knew everything, it's all over. Lisa Manoban, please cover everything up. You also bear responsibility for how things happened. You don't know how much I regret everything," Kai sincerely said as his tears started to fall. "So much that I'm pathetically asking you to lie like this. I want to return everything to how it was. This is where Ruby Jane has to return. For that to happen, please help me," Kai pleaded.
Lisa stopped her car near the dike. She was teary-eyed looking at the sea while contemplating.
"Ruby Jane. Her name was Ruby Jane. It's a strange name but it's better that Jennie," Lisa said to herself as a tear fell from her eyes.
Ruby Jane was in the living room sitting on the couch while staring at the clothes she used and her phone above it.
Kai went downstairs and saw Ruby Jane staring at the things in front of her. Kai went near her.
"Ruby Jane, I called Lisa Manoban. Before bringing you back, I felt I had to first tell you everything about the situation," Kai stated.
"Then, that was all your doing?" Ruby Jane softly asked. "Yes. I wanted to sue Lisa Manoban but it wouldn't look good to others. So I agreed to cover it up," Kai replied.
"I asked Lisa to find my family," Ruby Jane said. "Why? She couldn't even do that. Who knows if she even tried properly. In any case, this misunderstanding was all because of Lisa Manoban," Kai asserted.
"Misunderstanding. So it was all a misunderstanding?" Ruby Jane weakly said. Suddenly her head ached. "I can't judge anything correctly right now. It's like I haven't quite awoken. I'm in a daze," Ruby Jane admitted.
"Yes, you've gotten up from sleeping. You were momentarily dreaming. Think of everything that happened as fantasy and not a reality," Kai suggested.
Ruby Jane looked intently at him. "If that's the case, the dream was so vivid... This reality is stranger," she uttered. "Things will become familiar quickly since this is your place," Kai replied.
Kai then saw a maid got inside the villa. "Clear these away," he ordered pointing to the clothes and phone of Ruby Jane. The maid picked them up and threw in the trash bin.
The kids were playing at home when Lisa arrived.
"Kids," Lisa uttered. "Aunt Lisa!" They excitedly said and went to her. "You said that you'd be gone a few days but you're back early," Sana stated. "Should we call Aunt Jennie?" Dahyun asked.
"No, don't call her. Even if you call, she can't come," Lisa seriously said. "Why?" Sana curiously asked. "Aunt Jennie went home," Lisa answered.
"If she goes home, she can't come here?" Mina asked. "Yes. Her home is so far away. She can't come anymore," Lisa softly said and tapped one by one the heads of her nieces who looked sad. She then faked her smile at them.
Ruby Jane was at the porch looking outside when Kai went to her.
"What happened to the yacht?" Ruby Jane asked. "I sold it. It's the yacht where you had an accident. Keeping it was painful," Kai reasoned out.
"If you'd kept the yacht, things wouldn't have taken so long," Ruby Jane asserted. "This is all Lisa Manoban's doing. If she hadn't done all that to you, I wouldn't have found you so late," Kai stated.
"Yes, it's too late," Ruby Jane uttered. "When you're better, let's go back to America. Now we've returned to how things were before," Kai said.
"Kai, don't be mistaken. I've returned to my place but I haven't returned to you," Ruby Jane said which surprised him. "Whatever misunderstandings there were, you left me," Ruby Jane added.
"Ruby Jane, I didn't do it on purpose. There was a real misunderstanding. That..." Kai said but was cut off. "Stop! I'm not myself yet. After I settle things, whether it's defending yourself or asking for forgiveness, do it then," Ruby Jane stated and left him.
