Chapter 46

After eating in the restaurant, Lisa and Jennie went home. Lisa was driving the car while Jennie who was in the passenger's seat, listened to the car's radio. 

"Mom says she doesn't like jjajangmyun. Ahh we're so in love 🎶" was the lyrics of the song played on the radio. "This mother is really strange. Why doesn't she like jjajangmyun?" Jennie curiously asked. 

"It's not that she doesn't like it," Lisa replied smiling at her. "Didn't she say that she doesn't like it?" Jennie asked still confused. "She doesn't like it for the sake of her children," Lisa responded. "Why?" Jennie asked again. "Just forget it. A mother's great love and sacrifice...how can Jennie understand a thing like that?" Lisa stated. "The mother is so choosy. She likes it yet she pretends not to. I don't like to be pretentious," Jennie said.

"Jennie, if someone lies to you..." Lisa said as she looked at Jennie and deeply sighed. "Only those who don't know anything can live happily. Live your life the way you want," Lisa said as she diverted the topic.

"She just left like that after telling me that she would help me get a plaster? How long would it take to stick a plaster," Kai murmured as he went home. "It must be Lisa Manoban who told her to leave. Hateful Lisa Manoban!" Kai said angrily. 

"I'm going to Seoul. I will come back tomorrow night maybe," Lisa told Jennie while preparing her things. "What's the matter?" Jennie asked. "I will tell you everything when I come back. When I come back, I will really tell you everything. Take care of the kids," Lisa said and left.

Mr. Lee and Jisoo's mom met at the park. He gave her a book. "I love you? The title of the book sounds awkward. Bang Gu you're so cute" Jisoo's mom teased Mr. Lee. "That's my sincere gift to you," Mr. Lee said which made Jisoo's mom giggle. "It's a comic book. It's more convenient like this then," Jisoo's mom commented as she scanned the book. "The main character's name is Lisa. I also know a person by the name of Lisa," she said which stopped Mr. Lee from smiling. "I'm going to Seoul today with my daughter and Lisa. We will attend a wedding. Right, I can read the comic in the car. Thank you Bang Gu," Jisoo's mom happily said. 

"Mr. Lee, where have you been? Your phone has been switch off," Kai said when Mr. Lee went to the villa. "Were you looking for me Chairman?" Mr. Lee asked. "Mr. Lee, is there anyone called Bang Gu in our resort? That Bang Gu badmouthed me behind my back spreading rumors about me going after my dead wife's property. Now, Ruby Jane knows about it," Kai stated which made Mr. Lee panic. "Bang Gu, it doesn't sound like a formal name. Could it be a nickname?" Kai asked and Mr. Lee shook his head. "Check this Bang Gu guy for me. Everything's going berserk now. I'm going crazy," Kai said and left. "I am Bang Gu, Chairman. I'm sorry," Mr. Lee talked by himself.

"Are you sure you have worked on the yacht before?" Lisa asked her friend's cousin. "Of course. The owner is a wife of a wealthy foreigner. She has a disgusting attitude. Aren't all wealthy people the same?" The man stated. "She's the owner of the yacht right?" Lisa asked him while showing a picture of Jennie. 

"We're home," the kids said in weak voice while coughing and having a runny nose. "What's wrong? Are you guys sick?" Jennie asked as she stopped wiping the table. "I think we got a cold," Dahyun answered as she felt her forehead. 

"Cold? What do I have to do?" Jennie asked them. "Bring us to the hospital," Dahyun replied. "Alright, let's go," Jennie stated.

"So you don't know this woman?" Lisa sadly asked. "The yacht that I had worked on is this one," the man said as she showed Lisa a picture of the yacht. "It looks the same, but it's not the one," Lisa said. "There are not many big yacht's in the country. I will help you ask around. But I'm not sure if this can really help," the man stated. "Please do it for us," Lisa told him.

"Lis, what do we do now?" Jisoo curiously asked. "We're already here in Seoul. Let's just check at the Missing Person's Center," Lisa answered. "Let's go," Jisoo replied. 

"According to your situation, it'd be quite difficult if nobody comes to look for her here," the woman in the Center said as Lisa gave her Jennie's picture. "If anyone contacts you, give me a call," Lisa said as she gave the woman her contact card. "Did you take in someone unrelated? Do you want any information on homes which accept such people?" The woman asked.

"Lisa Manoban. I beg you, please abandon Ruby Jane. If you abandon her, that's the time I'm going to take Ruby Jane back. Abandon her," Kai said while looking at their big wedding picture. 

"They're already home from their cold shots in the hospital. They're sleeping now. You're not coming home today?" Jennie asked Lisa through the phone. "I still have things to do. Thanks a lot for taking care of them. I will go home early tomorrow morning. Thank you for doing this," Lisa said and Jennie ended the call. She noticed that Sana was coughing. She then fixed Sana and Mina's blanket. Jennie felt Mina's forehead using her hand and compared it to her. 

Jennie was already sleeping when Dahyun woke her up. "Aunt Jennie, Aunt Jennie. Mina is feeling really sick," Dahyun told her. Jennie ran upstairs. She saw that Sana was coughing and Mina was crying. "They got their shots already and took their medicine. Why are they still like this?" Jennie asked herself confused. "Don't cry, don't cry," Jennie told Mina.

"What is their temperature?"Lisa asked while driving home when Jennie called her. "I don't know. How am I supposed to know?" Jennie answered. "I have a thermometer in my drawer," Lisa said and Jennie ran to get it. She can't find it so she threw the other things of the drawer in the floor until she finally saw the thermometer. 

Jennie got Mina's temperature and called Lisa. "It's not very serious. Did you give them fever medicine?" Lisa asked. "They took the medicine given by the hospital already but they are still throwing up," Jennie answered. "It's normal when they're down with fever. You know the cooling method right?" Lisa asked again.

Jennie went downstairs and prepared the ice cubes. She put the ice cubes in the cloth and put it in the forehead of the kids. Jennie checked again Mina's temperature and called Lisa's phone. "The fever has resided then it's alright now. I will rush home as soon as possible. Thank you Jennie," Lisa sincerely said. "Come home quickly, I'm tired," Jennie said and ended the call.

"I really hate being sick. Kids, why did you got sick together?" She asked herself and leaned on the wall while watching the kids sleeping. She didn't noticed that she fell asleep. When she woke up, she looked at her hand and Mina was holding it. "I will let you, since you're sick," Jennie told Mina who was sleeping.
