Chapter 4

Ruby Jane stopped her car in the well lighted part of the highway. "I need to call the police. 911. No, what is it for Korea?" She asked herself. She then turned on the light inside the car and checked her hand. The red color has faded so she smelled it. "What is this? It's a paint!" She said confirming it. "Then what does she do?" She asked again. She examined the coat she got from Lisa. "What did that fellow take me for?!" She angrily asked.

Lisa weakly went home. She got a big wound in her face.  "Aunt Lisa, what happened?" Her nieces asked. "Robbers! I was robbed by robbers," Lisa answered and then she fainted.

After she regain consciousness, she ate her dinner. "I'm sure. She must be a professional robber. She must have came to rob me after some detailed planning," Lisa told Jisoo's mom who was baby sitting her nieces. "You must be terrified then," Jisoo's mom said. "Where should I go to catch her? How embarrassing. Should I call the police? Lisa asked. "Of course you should report this to the police. That kind of woman ought to be caught to scare her a bit," Jisoo's mom said.

Jisoo suddenly dropped the mannequin in front of Lisa and her mom which caused them to startle. "Lisa, did that woman see this? That's why she beat you up," Jisoo stated. "What? Why should she beat me up after seeing that?" Lisa asked. "It was raining and it was dark. If you see this in the car, what would you think it was?" Jisoo asked back. "Gosh, it looks exactly like a corpse," Jisoo's mom commented. "Mom also feels the same way after seeing it. Then the answer is obvious," Jisoo concluded. "Then what about my money?" Lisa asked. "She must have taken it away unknowingly," Jisoo replied. "Is she a fool?" Lisa annoyingly said. 

Kai looked at their wedding picture. "Why did you follow me? Why didn't you stay in America? Why did you come over? Why? Why? Why?!" He sadly asked. "Chairman! Madam said she'll be here soon. We have to wait for her, right?" Mr. Lee asked. "You go ahead first," Kai said. 

Ruby Jane's car stopped in front of their hotel. Everyone is waiting outside for her. "Ruby Jane. It's been a long time!" Kai excitedly said but was just ignored. "Ruby Jane...," Kai said then noticed that Ruby Jane was soaking wet. "I know I look unpresentable. Something happened on the way," Ruby Jane stated. Kai was about to hug her but Ruby Jane just walked past him. "Why you didn't  pick me up from the airport?!" She angrily asked him. "It's because you said there was no need to," Kai sheepishly answered. "Regardless of what I say, if you had arranged to pick me up properly, such a thing wouldn't have happened!" She madly said. "And you, aren't you going to hug me since it's been awhile since we last met? Are you trying to avoid me because of my rugged looks now? How can it be?!" Ruby Jane stated. Kai quickly hug Ruby Jane and kissed her in the cheeks. "My wife, it's been a long time," Kai said. "You've changed your perfume? Uncool. And I've said it before right, tightening your tie is uncool too. And you've seem to grow darker. You should know it's uncool," Ruby Jane commented and got inside the hotel leaving Kai behind. "Yes, I'll change. I should have been more alert," Kai said in a small voice and ran after Ruby Jane. 

"After madam arrived, a lot of things are undergoing rocket-speed changes," Mr. Lee told Kai.

"Look at how horrible this food is. Failed. Change the chef," Ruby Jane said as she stopped eating her meal. "Yes, I understand," said Mr. Lee. 

"Look at how this place is cleaned up. Failed. Change the cleaning team leader," Ruby Jane said as she was checking around the hotel. "Change that," pointing to the picture frame. "Change this," referring to the center table. "Change everything?" Mr. Lee asked. 

"There's indeed some problems with the chef and the cleaning team leader," Kai defensively said. "Ruby Jane's foresight has always been sharp," he added. "But anyhow, the word CHANGE has the final say. And now, plenty of employees are dissatisfied," Mr. Lee said. "I'll tell Ruby Jane about this," Kai bravely said. "It's more possible that you wouldn't say it," Mr. Lee said to himself. 

Kai went to Ruby Jane in their bedroom. "Ruby Jane I have..." Kai said which he didn't continue. "I've changed the cleaning team. You don't know how slippery the bathroom was. I nearly slipped and fell, hit my head and died," Ruby Jane frankly said. "Did you fall?" Kai worriedly asked. "Why? Are you happy that I nearly died?" Ruby Jane asked. "How can that be possible?" Kai answered. "What did you want to say?" Ruby Jane asked again. "That..." Kai started to talk but Ruby Jane turned on the hair blower causing noise. "I can understand how you feel. But you always make use of the hotel's manpower. How would others look upon me as the Chairman? In future, before you change the personnel, it would be good if you discuss it with me first," Kai said in low voice. Ruby Jane kept silent still using the hair blower. "Are you angry?" Kai asked. "I didn't hear that. Repeat it and I'll listen to it carefully. What did you say would be good?" Ruby Jane asked as she put down the hair blower. "Changing personnel all the time is a good idea," Kai said. "Of course. Go to the bathroom and get for me Princess's comb," Ruby Jane confidently said. 

"If I catch you, you'll be dead!" Lisa angrily said as she posted a tarp that states: Looking for a witness. Car description - Red foreign sports car. The culprit is in her late 20's. Wears loud clothing and has arrogant speech. Will reward those who will report. Phone number - 010-678-5677. "Lis, do you think that by doing this we can catch that woman?" Jisoo asked. "I was beaten up and I was robbed! I nearly lost my life! Can I just let it go? Of course I have to do something! This matter would be settled if we can find the car. In this area, how many of those kind of imported cars can there be?" Lisa asked.

Mr. Lee was driving Ruby Jane somewhere. "Madam, you really do have foresight to acquire this resort. This place will soon become a top-notch holiday spot," Mr. Lee said while driving. "Mr. Lee," Ruby Jane said. "Yes?" Mr. Lee replied. "Do you use your mouth to drive? From now onwards, look at the road properly," Ruby Jane ordered. Then suddenly Ruby Jane remembered the person she hit with the shovel. "Mr. Lee, was there anyone who was killed by a shovel a few days ago?" She asked. "That's impossible. The security here is excellent. This is what Chairman took into consideration too," Mr. Lee answered. "Then that's good. Seems like she's not dead," Ruby Jane said to herself.

Ruby Jane's car passed near the tarp that Lisa posted and Jisoo noticed it. "Lis, that car is an imported car too," Jisoo said pointing to the gray car that passed by. "Where?" Lisa quickly looked. "Oh please that is not the  correct color," she said as she saw a gray car.

Mr. Lee stopped at a store. "Madam, do I only need to buy a milk?" He asked. "Does the cat need to hold on to a milk bottle to drink? Does it need a straw to drink? Use your brains," Ruby Jane told him. "It should need a plate. I'll be right back," Mr. Lee said leaving Ruby Jane inside the car carrying her cat Princess. "Look at this village," Ruby Jane said to herself.

Lisa also went downtown and stopped at a store to buy soft drinks. She then noticed the car near the store and appreciated it. "Wow! This car is nice," she said checking it around. Suddenly, its window opened. "What are you doing?" Ruby Jane asked. "Your car's real nice," she answered. "So? What do you want to do with another person's nice car? Did you scratch it? Don't do anything funny. Hurry, leave!" Ruby Jane ordered. "You are practically a psycho," Lisa said in a whisper but enough for Ruby Jane to hear. "Just look at you..." she said back. Then Lisa remembered the same phrase the woman who hit her told her before. She stepped back and looked carefully  at the woman inside the car. Ruby Jane noticed her. "Miss, let me see you without your glasses," Lisa said but got ignored. Then she looked closely at Ruby Jane. "It's correct!" Lisa happily said. "You should recognize me right? Do you still remember me? You were the one who reduced me to this state. You robber! You are dead today. You escape after beating people. Did you think that I wasn't going to be able to find you?!" Lisa angrily said. Lisa was about to open the door but Ruby Jane locked it immediately. "Fine, you get off the car first. Not coming down?" Lisa said as she forced to open the door. "I'm talking to you nicely and you are not opening the door? Very well, get out!" Lisa said as she tried to get Ruby Jane through the window which was open. "Open the door while I'm trying to talk to you!" Lisa angrily said. Ruby Jane moved away from the window and push the window's up button using her feet which caused Lisa's head to be stuck in the window. "You...you are so dead!" Lisa said in panic. Ruby Jane quickly got out of the car and transferred to the driver's seat. "You are serious of not opening?" Lisa said with her head hanging. Ruby Jane started the car. "If you dare to drive off, I'm not going to forgive you!" Lisa threatening her. Ruby Jane didn't listen to her and drive the car slowly. "Aren't you going to stop? Hurry stop!" Frightened Lisa said. Jisoo saw what happened to Lisa so she went to her and helped her get her head which was trapped in the car window. Finally, Ruby Jane tap the down button and Lisa was able to get her head back leaving them in the street.
