Chapter 3

Ruby Jane safely arrived at Incheon International Airport. She then called her husband. "Can't you get the car ready when I was still on the plane? Look at what you've done," she said irritated.

Suddenly, a man handed her the car key while bowing. "Fine. I'll go back on my own. I'll see you when I get back. Goodbye," she told Kai over the phone.

Ruby Jane went outside the airport and searched for her car. "Look at this horrible weather," she said to herself because it's raining hard and it's already early evening. "Where is the car?" She added. She pressed the car's remote and found out that the car is 50 meters away from her. "Look at how the car was parked," she said.

Looking around, she saw a middle age man standing with an umbrella. "Hey!" She called him. The man wondered if it's him she's calling. Then Ruby Jane hand gestured for him to come to her. The man obeyed and got near. "Open your umbrella," she commanded. "What?" Asked the man. "Why aren't you opening it?" She asked again. The man quickly opened his umbrella. "Let's go," she said and walked with the man holding the umbrella. "I'm drenched! Hold it properly!" She ordered. The man followed her until she got inside her car and left him there without saying anything.

While driving, Ruby Jane called someone on the phone. "This is Ruby Jane Kim. I forgot some stuff," she said.

Lisa was about to go home after her work. She was putting the rubbish inside her car. "I'll bring this mannequin," she said. "For what? Are you going to hug them to sleep?" Jisoo asked joking. "If I repaint it and sell, I can earn 5,000," she answered. "You think real fast when it comes to earning money. By the way, you already earned today. How about having a drink together tonight?" Jisoo asked again. "I can't. The kids are waiting," Lisa said. "My mom said she's given them dinner already. Let's go for a drink," Jisoo said. "Enough. I'm going off first," Lisa said smiling.

Lisa was so happy while driving her car on her way home. Because of the fast speed of her car and rough road, the red paint in the backseat spilled.

Meanwhile, Ruby Jane was still driving around and called Mr. Lee on the phone. "How did you direct me? I can't see anything now!" She angrily said coz the rain was pouring hard and the surrounding area was dark. "If you turn right over there, on the right you should see a sign," Mr. Lee said. "There's none. You can come and see it for yourself. If I say there's none, there's none!" She yelled. "Then we'll go over there to pick you up. Can you please tell me where are you now?" Mr. Lee asked. "Are you kidding? Are you playing a fool?! I've said it umpteen times. I don't know where I am now!" She angrily said. Her phone notified that its battery was low. "Mr. Lee! Mr. Lee! In any case, there's a lot of hills here, and plenty of grass," Ruby Jane said.

Then she saw a sign and stopped the car. She went backward to clarify the sign. "The sign is accident prone area," she told Mr. Lee. But then her phone died. She angrily throw her phone.

"Where exactly is she?" Kai worriedly asked. "She says she's at an accident-prone area," Mr. Lee answered.

Ruby Jane was trying to go in her way again but her car won't cooperate. One of its tires was stuck in the mud. She went outside the car and checked it. "So this what it means to be accident prone area!" She angrily said.

Lisa saw Ruby Jane and stopped her car near her. "What happened?" Lisa asked. "Isn't it obvious?" Ruby Jane answered. Lisa immediately got out of her car and checked Ruby Jane's car. "It really sank in deep," Lisa said. "Hand me your phone. I'll call for help," Ruby Jane ordered. "It'll take some time if you call for help. Let me help you instead," Lisa offered. "Then you better help me fast," Ruby Jane said. Lisa then showed her hand. "5000," she said. Ruby Jane paid Lisa the amount and said. "Hurry, settle it," Ruby Jane demanded. Lisa happily put the money in her pocket. "Yes. It'll be done right away," she stated.

Lisa was digging so hard while Ruby Jane was waiting inside her car. Lisa found the work to be so hard so she went to Ruby Jane. "How can you just sit there? You have to help me push the car together," Lisa said. "You've already accepted the money, so why should I help you push the car?" Jennie replied. "Then you are too heavy already. Get down," Lisa said. "Isn't it raining?" Ruby Jane stated. "Then stay in my car," Lisa suggested. Ruby Jane went outside her car. "Look at that car," she said while looking at Lisa's car. Lisa heard Ruby Jane and was surprised of the comment. "How can there be this kind of person?" Lisa said to herself.

Ruby Jane went inside Lisa's car and the latter continued digging. "If I had known earlier, I would've asked for 20,000!" Lisa told herself. She rest for awhile and looked at Ruby Jane inside her car in a distance. She saw that Ruby Jane was searching something there. "What is she doing?" She asked herself.

Meanwhile, Ruby Jane picked up a cloth and saw that it was covered in red that stuck to her hand. "Blood!" Ruby Jane nervously said. She immediately threw it beside her. Then she saw a flashlight and looked at the backseat. She was startled when she saw a chainsaw and a human head covered with blood. She looked outside in panic and saw Lisa in a distance, standing while looking at her suspiciously.

"My money is still in my coat. Could it be that..." Lisa worriedly said to herself. Ruby Jane was shaking as Lisa was getting near to her with shovel in her hand. Ruby Jane picked up anything she can to protect herself when Lisa will attack her. She got a toilet pump. "What's this?" She asked herself. Then she wrapped it with the coat that she grabbed from the driver's seat.

When Lisa opened the door, Ruby Jane hit her head right away. Lisa fell to the ground. "What are you doing?" Lisa asked. Ruby Jane hit her again and Lisa groan in pain. Ruby Jane ran while holding the toilet pump which was wrapped with Lisa's coat. Lisa went after her. "My money!" Lisa said as she pulled the coat. Ruby Jane kicked her and she fell again. Ruby Jane ran but Lisa was able to go after her. They were fighting for the coat. Then Ruby Jane saw the shovel and hit Lisa in the face. Lisa can't hardly stand up so Ruby Jane went inside her car and started it. The car moved forward and she left Lisa behind.

"My money," Lisa sadly said. "How did you know that my money is inside my coat?" She added and laid in the middle of the road.
