Chapter 25

"Lisa Manoban, although I have no memory of it, but now I seem to know one of the reasons why I like you," Jennie said staring at Lisa. 

Lisa's eyes grew wide when she heard Jennie spoke those words. She unconsciously let go of Jennie's shoulders causing them both to fall on the ground. 

Lisa was about to stand up but she can't because Jennie was lying beside her and her head was rested on Lisa's arm. "Jennie, what did you say?" Lisa asked nervously. 

"Lisa Manoban.....Get away from me!!!" Jennie angrily said and elbowed Lisa in the stomach causing the latter to groan in pain rolling on the ground.

"How dare you take advantage of a lady like me?!! You didn't seem so bad, so I made a couple of compliments. Now you're flirting on me?!!" Jennie said fuming.

"Flirting? Who's flirting?!" Lisa irritatedly asked back while holding her stomach still on the ground.

"From now on, don't come near and don't flirt! We're not there yet!" Jennie asserted. 

"That's my line!" Lisa replied as she recovered from the pain.

"Also, even though I said you are kind-hearted, but I, who lives like this with you, I'm even a better person," Jennie claimed.

"What? Who's kind-hearted?" Lisa mockingly said.

"Although I don't remember it, but I think I must have been a good woman," Jennie concluded and got inside the house.

"Kind-hearted? If you're kind-hearted then Joohyun's not a lunatic and I'm a tycoon! Amongst the people I know, you're the worst!" Lisa shouted alone outside.

"Chairman, in a twinkling of an eye, you've lost all that weight," Mr. Lee said when he fetch Kai in the airport. Kai just nodded in response while his eyes were closed. "Although it hasn't been long but I did some investigation on Lisa Manoban. I made a simple report, please take a look," Mr. Lee added.

"Lisa Manoban, 25 years old, younger than me. I could tell that with just one look. On behalf of her deceased brother, she's bringing up 3 nieces," Kai reading the notes Mr. Lee made. "Yes, she's very responsible. What kind of world are we in today? Parents, siblings, even wife, can be abandoned," Mr. Lee commented. 

"This is what you want me to hear?" Kai angrily asked. Mr. Lee shook his head. "Active in all social events. Could she have gotten information about Ruby Jane via social events?" Kai thought still reading. "That possibility is probably reasonable. Otherwise, why bother to participate in such useless activities?" Mr. Lee replied.

Lisa was playing football with Jisoo and their friends. They where celebrating when Lisa scored one. Lisa quickly put her arm in the shoulder of her teammate. "Now, that thing in your house ought to be changed, right?" Lisa asked her. "Yes, that task will be handed to you," her team mate gladly said. "Fighting!" Lisa shouted.

"That's too big!" Lisa complimented when Mr. Choi caught a fish. "Yes, nice catch," their companions said too. "Fighting!" Lisa said and high-fived Mr. Choi. "Mr. Choi, it's cold in winter. How about changing your heaters?" Lisa asked. "Yes, yes. You do it for me," Mr. Choi responded.

"Mrs. Im, how about I change the farming sheets in the greenhouse for you?" Lisa asked while assisting an elderly during a hike. "Yes, please do as you see fit," Mrs. Im gladly said. "Mr. Park, what about the next project?" Lisa asked another elderly next to Mrs. Im. "Of course, it'll be done by you," Mr. Park assured her. "Pal, what about your kitchen repairs?" Lisa asked the last one who arrived. "You do it for me," she answered.

"Indeed, she used complex networks, collecting information to get close to Ruby Jane. Scary fella," Kai said and closed the notes he's reading. "So why doesn't she act on it now? Why does she needs to wait for a month? What is she going to do in one month?" Kai thought.
