CHRISTINA'S POV

It's early in the morning and we all are already in the field for thi stupid competition.

PRESENT

-we are all gathered here to find out who will be the lucky one that will get to marry my daughter
-so, let's start with the candidates
-the candidates are:

1.Mr. Benjamin Martinez from Japan
2.Mr. Will Johnson from Bahamas
3. Mr. Mason Lopez from Laos
4. Mr. James Rodriguez from Iceland

-these are the young men that will fight for Christina's hand

Father was about to say something, but king Noah interrupts him.

-my son Alex would like to enter the competition

What? I thought that he will help me, not enter the competition himself. Why did i even trust him on this? This just proves that you can't trust just anyone.

-absoulutely not
-and why not?
-i will not allow ny daughter marry someone like your son
-i thought that anyone can enter, why not my son?
-aren't you supposed to treat everyone eaquilly?
-i am treating everyone eaquilly
-but not us, i feel discreminated now

This causes whispers in the crowd. Some can even be heard.

-king Noah is right
-he is not treating everyone eaquilly

And that probably made my father change his mind.

-fine, he can compete

He doesn't sound very happy to say it. And for the first time in these many days, i agree with him.

-like i was about to say, the competition will start tomorrow, first will be archery
-good luck to all the competitiors

Father says that and leaves. The crowd dissapears too.

-Christina, let's go talk to your father

She dargs me by my arm and drags me inside. Not even giving me a chance to answer. We get inside and father is stress pacing again. He is so angry. He looks like he will turn red from all the anger inside him.

-how could they?
-what do they think of themselves?

Mothet goes to fatger and strokes his shoulder gently to calm him down.

-it'll be fine honey, the boy won't last long

I'm just standing there until motger turns to me and says.

-Christina, don't just stand there, say something

There's nothing i can really say. Except for one thing.

-actually, this is your fault

They both look at me with a surprised look.

-you are the ones that started this whole thing, and you are the ones that cab stop it, i mean you don't want him to win

I was hoping that they would change their mind. But after getting an angry look from mother, i understood that won't happen and that it's my cue to leave.

-but you do what you want, i'll leave you to it

And i quickly get out the room.

-i should find Emma

I walk down the hallway to find her. While walking doen the hallway i meet Alex.

-Hey, Christina

But i just ignore him, because i'm still mad at him.

ALEX'S POV

-Hey, Christina

I say to her, but she just ignores me and walks past me. Great, now she's mad at me. She should at least say thank you. I'm literary going to fight for her. Not that i want to, but still. Actually, i don't care if she talks to me or not. The only problem is that, father won't like it.

-son, what are you doing here?

Says mother coming towards me.

-nothing, i was just going to my room
-you can't
-why not?

Mother chuckles

-you just entered the contest, you have excersise, dad is waiting for you at the field
-now?
-yes, now, go
-ok, ok

I lazily drag myself to the field
