Chapter 8: The Next Day

I ended waking up around 7:30 that morning and decided to stay up. I went to get out of my bed and put a bathing suit on and a top and shorts over with my hair up in a messy bun. A couple of minutes later Hunter texts me.
"Hey, are you up?"
I quickly reply yes.
Hunter: "Good, I hope your ready. I'm coming now."
Me: "But it's only 7:43 haha."
Hunter: "So? I want this day to last long."
Me: "Awe, well I'm ready so come on over."
Hunter "Already half way haha."
Me: "Okay aha be safe."
Hunter: "Sure thing."
So I quickly grab my bag that I packed with another pair of clothes and sunscreen and other things ect. I head down stairs and less than 5 minutes later he texts me. "Hey, I'm here." Then walks up to the door and open it for him. "Well, what are you doing here so early,Hunter?" My mom asks.
"Well, today is my last day here and I wanted to spend the whole day with her. I told her when I'm near again we can hang out more."
"Awe, that's sweet. You guys just be safe, okay?"
"Sure thing, Mrs. Turner."
Me and Hunter head out the door and into his car. "Got everything?" Hunter asks. "Yep, I checked before I left. So, where are we going to first?"
"The beach, Poñá Védra one. So, this will kind of be a road trip."
"I'm fine with that. As long as today will be great."
Halfway there Hunter stops for gas and breakfast. It was a beach shack with a gas station next to it. After we ate he headed back on the road for another hour or so. We arrived around 9:55 that morning with our stuff and he brung out his mini cooler with Pepsi's in them along with beach chairs and extra stuff and we headed our way to the beach. Once we were on the sand, we walked until we found a perfect spot and set our stuff down and put our chairs up.
"We'll only be here until 11:30 because we have a lunch date down In Argyle."
"Okay, sounds fun."
"Well, let's get into the water for a little."
"Not yet." Hunter says.
"Oh wow, stop being a wussy and get into this water with me!" I joke around. Before Hunter knew it I grabbed him by his hand and dragged him into the water and we ended up wrestling. "Awe man, my whole butts wet!" I yell.
"Well, that's what you get!" Hunter reaches his hand for me to grab and helps me up. We walk back to our chair and I lay on the towel so my shorts can dry off.
"So Madison, how are you this morning?" Hunter teases.
"Oh, I'm JUST fine!" I say playfully.
We just sat there and talked until it was 11:15.
"Hey, let's go ahead and pack up an leave so we can be there a bit early." Hunter says.
