Chapter 13: The Park Convo

Want to go find a park and watch the sunset together? " Hunter asks.
"Yeah sure. It'll be a nice way to end our day."
By the time we make it to the park we go out to the land area and just sit on the green grass and just watch the sunset. It was about 7:00 when I finally got the courage to tell him how I felt.
"Hunter?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I tell you something?"
"Anything, of course."
"I haven't really gotten the courage to tell you this... I ever got the courage to do things like this but I would also like to say thank you. Thank you for giving me the best three days ever! I'm just scared when you leave that we won't talk. Nobody has ever treated me so nicely. I'm always being treated like crap. But since I met you and actually got to know you, it's been the best. I can't control this feeling any longer. I've always been in love with you. But I've been falling harder and harder for you... It sucks. But that's how life works. You can't always get things your way. I love you Hunter. Please don't forget that. And I mean it. Thank you for everything. When you bring me home tonight I just want to wrap my arms around you so tight and never let you go. You being me nothing but joy. Thank you." I started to tear up. "You really love me?" Hunter asked.
"Yes... But I can't help it. It's my feelings."
"Don't feel bad.."
His voice got quiet.
"I feel the same way... I just couldn't tell you because I didn't know how you would react."
"I was scared to tell you too..."
Hunter scoots over closer to me and gives me a tight long hug.
"It's getting late... I think I Should bring you back.. We're leaving early tomorrow morning."
"Yeah."
When we were in the car I was trying not to break down. I was going to miss him so much.
