Chapter 6: Getting Ready

It was around 10:30 when my alarm went off. I turned my alarm off and got up. "Well, today's the day." I say in my morning voice. I get in the shower and after I put some clean clothes on an went into the living room. "Well, good morning maddie." Mom says.
"Hey." "So, what are your plans today?" "Oh, well, I am going to hang out with Hunter."
"Hunter who?" Mom asks curiously.
"You won't believe it but Hunter Hayes. The other night I went to Starbucks and I saw him there and we talked for a while and we exchanged numbers and he wants to hang out today. Is that okay with you?" I ask...
"Ohhh Madison, you're VERY lucky, you? Hanging out with Hunter Hayes? The country boy start that everyone loves. He is a cutie. Haha sorry to burst your bubble but you can't deny it. What if you guys end up being something more??" Mom teases. I just smirk and say "Haha well, I wish! I really do. But I wouldn't think he would like me like that." "You never know. There's many possibilities out there. You never know what the future holds for you." I agreed. "Well, what time is Hunter coming to get you?" "Around 5:00." I say. "Oh, you got some time before he gets you. Want to go do something with me for a while?" "Sure." So we ended up just riding around for a little while and we didn't get back until 4:00. "Well princess, thanks for hanging out with me for a while, now go get ready." When I got inside I went upstairs and went into my closet to see what I could find. I didn't want to wear anything to dressy but not to casual. So I end up just wearing a softball monogram shirt and some skinny jeans and my Ariat boots.
*5 minutes later*
Hunter: " Hey, are you ready? I want to get you a little bit earlier so we have more time. "
Me: "Yeah, I'm ready."
Hunter: " Okay, be there in 20."
Me: "Okay, be safe. :)"
Hunter: "Sure will, always. :)" I put my iPhone into my pocket and finish putting my makeup on. And before you know it, Hunters at the door.
