Chapter 20: Through the Day

Hours later, we woke up and realized how "snuggled" up were. (What the guys called it)
"Oh crud... I didn't mean to get so close to you when we were sleeping."
"It's okay. I didn't mean to either."
"Well, it looked like you guys were sleeping so peacefully!" Matt teases.
Hunter just rolls his eyes.
"We were tired! We didn't mean to."
We couldn't help but laugh like total morons.
" We'll be in Nashville in about two hours." Devo says.
"Sounds good." Hunter says.
I suddenly get a text from Sam.
"Hey, I still need to talk to you."
"Sure, where are you?"
"I'm at the front of the bus. Come here for a minute."
"Okay be there in a sec."
I make my way to the front of the bus and Hunter was making coffee in the back.
"Hey, what do you need to talk to me about?"
" You know that kid won't shut up about you?"
"Haha whatever."
"No he really doesn't he talks non stop about you. So much it's ridiculous!" Matt interrupted.
"Oh my goodness what does he say?"
"He says how amazing of a person you are and how you've made him so happy this past week. He said he was so lucky to bump into you."
"Awe. I didn't think he really felt that way."
"Yeah really? Ha well here he comes so hush."
Matts voice gets quiet.
Hunter walks up behind me with two cups of coffee in his hand.
"Here you go madi."
"Thank you Hunter."
"So, what were you guys talking about? You know what? Never mind that. Let's go madi."
"Where are we going?"
"Studio. I want to try something with you for the next hour we're on this thing."
So me and Hunter head to his studio.
"I want to see if you can learn this song for me."
Hunter hands me the guitar an he stands behind me taking my hands and placing them on the cords.
"Now pluck this pattern 1-2-5-4-3"
I pluck it but Hunter got closer so he could see the cords. He adjusts my fingers and tells me to try again.
I pluck that pattern again an he told me to keep going. I recognize the song ad it was the one we sang together. What You Gonna Do. He taught me the rest and soon enough, I got used to the hand placements and got the whole song down. It's took about 20 minutes but it was worth it.
"This was the first song we sang together. Do you remember?" Hunter asks.
"How could I not?"
He took the guitar and started playing some songs and sang to me. I couldn't help but blush. But that was a hour well spent.
