Chapter 30: Later

After A couple of hours after finding out what had happened I couldn't help it by acting a bit shady the rest of that day. I wouldn't really say a word unless it was absolutely necessary. Hunter was starting to get worried.
"Madison, I know your upset still. But can you at least speak to me?"
I just smiled. I couldn't really say anything unless I wanted to cry.
"C'mon baby I know your upset. Can you please speak for me? At least say hey or something."
"Hi." My voiced cracked.
Hunters face got from worried to upset.
"I hate seeing you like this. I would say just to happy that their in a better place now they don't have to suffer."
"I know." I said.
"Baby girl, you got me. I love you. What can I do to make this better?"
"Just stay here with me. Don't leave me." I say at the last words cracking. Hunter didn't even hesitate and held me so close. "I would never leave you Madison that's crazy. I'll try everything I have in me just so you can be happy again." "I am happy. I'm happy with you. I'm sorry... That I'm not myself today. I'll get better just don't leave my side. I don't want anyone else leaving me."  "Well I ain't gonna be leaving you no matter what. " I smiled. "Thank you Hunter. That makes me so happy. " "Well isn't that my job?"
