Chapter 24: The Movie Surprise

We decided to go his room and watch a movie.
"What movie should we watch?"
"Do you like scary?" Hunter asks.
" how'd you know?"
So he puts a scary movie in and we watch it. He turns the lights off and it's dark. He sits next to me. During the movie he thought it would be funny to scare me.
"AHHHH!!!" He screams.
"HUNTER!! DONT DO THAT AGAIN!"
We both started cracking up. All of a sudden it gets quiet. He stares directly into my eyes and leaned in to kiss me.
After parting lips he immediately apologized.
"Madison, I'm so sorry I really couldn't help it."
" No, it's okay." I actually liked the kiss but I didn't want to say anything.
"I hope nothing will be awkward."
"Don't worry. It's okay Hunter."
We continued to watch the movie and when it was over he went to turn the tv off.
"Look, I'm still sorry. I honestly didn't mean to. I was trying to keep that in..."
I got up and walked towards him and wrap my arms around him.
"Look, it's okay. You didn't mean to. I know it's hard to keep your emotions in for a long period of time. Now, time for me to get something out I've been keeping in."
I leaned in and kissed him. He slowly put his shaking arms around my waist.
I had to stand on my tippy toes to kiss him. After a minute we parted lips again. He looked directly into my eyes.
"Can you give me a chance? Please? I really cannot be like this any longer. I want to be the man to make you happy."
"You always keep me happy. I trust you. Do you trust me?"
"When have I not? Madison, give me a chance, please?"
"As long as you give me a chance."
"I will."
